Coloured output in rspec 1.1.4
Hello.
I have lost the coloured output in autotest after updating to rspec
v1.1.4
I was already using the edge version and was ok then, before the last
update.
Anyone knows something about this?
Thank you.

failing ssl authentication
Hi,
I have a fairly basic dovecot 2.0.19 configuration on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS server with self signed certificates and "ssl = required" option set. It had been working for years flawlessly (including upgrade from 1.x to 2.0.19).
Please see full "dovecot -n" output at the end of this post.
Until recently, new mail user agents (MUA) are having problems. I cannot pass the account

userdb didn't return a home directory with v1.1.7
Hi all,
I am running Dovecot v1.1.7 in a relatively quiet and calm environment.
Suddenly overnight cron job has started throwing out errors like:
/usr/sbin/dovecot --exec-mail ext /usr/lib/dovecot/expire-tool
Error: userdb(user1 at mail.example) didn't return a home directory
Error: userdb(user2 at mail.example) didn't return a home directory
Indeed, running this command produces:

Cisco ISE unable to retrieve AD group list from samba 4 server
Hi all,
I have run into a problem with our samba4 setup. I have successfully
joined a Cisco ISE v1.1.4 (Identity Service Engine) test machine to the
samba4 AD. User authentication does work but unfortunately the ISE is
unable to fetch the AD groups from the domain controller. In the samba
logs I get the following error message when initiating the group fetch:

Startup info message
Hi folks,
I'm using the latest Dovecot 1.16 with Postfix for my FreeBSD box. Since
v1.1.4
(if i remember correctly), the following message is displayed whenever
starting Dovecot.
"Info: If you have trouble with authentication failures, enable auth_debug
setting. See http://wiki.dovecot.org/WhyDoesItNotWork"
Besides that, Dovecot works great but I wonder what this message is all

Camping-Omnibus Doesn''t Work With Ruby v1.8.6
I''ve noticed that the copy of Mongrel installed by the camping-omnibus
gem doesn''t work with Ruby 1.8.6. Or to be more specific,
cgi_multipart_eof_fix (which Mongrel is dependent upon) doesn''t work:
> $ sudo gem install mongrel --source http://code.whytheluckystiff.net

Cannot find gem for Rails error from dispatch.cgi
Hi All,
I''m developing a Rails app with Rails v1.1.4, but when I upload it to
Dreamhost and try to serve it with dispatch.cgi, I get the error "Cannot find
gem for Rails =1.1.4". However, I have installed the 1.1.4 gem in my home
directory and set GEM_PATH to look there; additionally, rake throws no errors
and "rails -v" displays "Rails 1.1.4". Any

Ignore prefix given by client?
Hi all,
I'm new to Dovecot, but so far I've been really impressed with what I've
seen. I hope someone can help with the following question.
We're migrating from a setup where some of our users use mbox with UW
imap. The problem is we've never enforced a folder prefix, so some have
their folders in ~/, others in ~/mail and others in ~/Mail. We've also
got some users using

http://dovecot.org/releases/1.2/alpha/dovecot-1.2.alpha2.tar.gz
http://dovecot.org/releases/1.2/alpha/dovecot-1.2.alpha2.tar.gz.sig
Mainly the same fixes as in v1.1.3 -> v1.1.4 plus some more
v1.2-specific fixes.
Not many people have been testing v1.2 releases. Wonder if there's
something I could do to improve that. I guess v1.2 is kind of missing
those killer features that would get a

[PATCH]: Cygwin port of 2.2.0p1
Attached is the patch for the Cygwin port of 2.2.0p1. As usual I didn't
attach the patch to `configure' but only the patch to `configure.in'.
BTW: I have attached a gzip'd version of the patch since it's size
is > 20K and I thought that it might be too big. The gzip'd diff is
< 8K.

StreetSmart Pro - hang during install
Hi,
I built Wine-0.9.5 this morning from portage on one of our Gentoo
machines. I then tried installing the StreeSmart Pro Simulator
application from Charles Schwab. The install hung very quickly and got
to the point where a winepreloader process was using 100% CPU but was
making no apparent forward progress. When I hit Ctrl-C in the terminal
where I was running I got this info in an error box:
