deliver does not work with new shared namespaces in dovecot 1.2
Hi Timo, checking my new userdb-checkpassword back end is stumbled across the fact, that the new shared namespace definitions possible in dovecot stop deliver from working. The log says: Oct 15 14:37:43 burlywood3 <info> deliver(2 at burlywood3.rgb)[24502]: Namespace: type=shared, prefix=users/%%u/, sep=/, inbox=no, hidden=no, list=no, subscriptions=no Oct 15 14:37:43 burlywood3

imap panic: file array.c: line 10 (array_idx_modifiable_i)
Hello, Are there any chances that I could fix this issue by running a "doveadm force-rsync" (https://wiki2.dovecot.org/Tools/Doveadm/ForceResync) on this problematic mailbox? You could try force-resync, it is safe to run. Anyways, without backtrace from core file it's hard to say. Aki On 27.1.2020 9.05, mabi wrote: > Hello, > > Does anyone one have any idea? Dovecot 1.1.x or 1.2, which way to go for Kolab Server?
Hi Timo, Hi *, was written the other day we started to use Dovecot 1.2 for our Kolab with Dovecot project, but it turned out that there are quite a bunch of issues with 1.2 (which is ok, as it hasn't even been announced as beta till now). We have a customer who should get a first test installation of Kolab with Dovecot in the first week of September and for that we need the features

Dovecot antispam plugin for 2.2
Hello, I recently was looking to update to dovecot 2.2 and I have been happily using the dovecot-antispam plugin in 2.1, but found that there have been some changes in dovecot that make this version not compile against 2.2. I'm wondering if Johannes you have any plans to update it, or if others have managed to figure out what is necessary to get it to work? The particular piece that I am

Annotation plugin for dovecot
Hi, as part of an effort to make dovecot usable as the IMAP component in the Kolab Groupware system <http://kolab.org/>, we've started to develop a plugin that implements the IMAP METADATA extension. The plugin is still under development and development is focused on the plugin's use in Kolab, so it will at first only implement what's immediately needed to achieve that

Segfault in dovecot 1.2rc2 with quota + public namespace enabled
Hi, I have configured a public namespace ("#Shared"). Since dovecot 1.2rc2 (1.1.11 worked fine) I get a segfault, if I try to access a folder under this namespace when quota plugin is enabled. When the quota plugin is disabled, accessing those folders works. $ dovecot -n # 1.2.rc2: /opt/dovecot/etc/dovecot.conf # OS: Linux 2.6.26-1-686 i686 Debian 5.0 base_dir: /var/run/dovecot

dovecot-metadata-8 released
Hello everyone! I just released dovecot-metadata-8, which is an implementation of RFC 5464 (IMAP METADATA), allowing to add comments/annotations/metadata to folders of an email account. The major feature is that it works with Akonadi, or more specifically the Kolab backend thereof, while being dovecot-2.0 compatible. The module consists of 3 plugins, two IMAP frontends and one backend: *

Logging-in seems to work, but any attempt to access the mailbox contents (regardless of folder) causes a core-dump. patch: list shared namespace
Hi, I've been working on a patch for dovecot 1.2 from the Kolab branch (http://hg.intevation.org/kolab/dovecot-1.2_kolab-branch/) that implements listing of shared namespaces. I've got something that works in some basic way but is still missing some pieces. See the attached patch, which also contains some installation and configuration notes. Implementation notes: One of the main
