dovecot-imap displays empty domainalias mailboxen
Hi folks, I'm using dovecot 1.0.13 as the IMAPS frontend for a vpopmail/qmail virtual domain setup. Dovecot is set up as follows: passdb vpopmail{ } userdb vpopmail{ } I've added a domain alias for the main domain with vaddaliasdomain and email to post at aliasdomain is delivered to post at maindomain and can be checked with pop. However, when I try to check IMAP through the account post

Debugging sieve-options
Hello all! I am using a dovecot-server since several weeks - and am really impressed about this server (after using courier and cyrus). I tried to install the sieve-plugin now (CentOS RPM) and configured sieve like described in your WIKI (and on several other pages). Unfortunately I can not connect to port 2000 (sieve-administration?!) nor are there any messages regarding sieve in the logs.

can't enable sieve on ubuntu trusty
I try to create a sieve rule on a Ubuntu server ( managed by i-mscp) For this rule i need the editheader extension. I edited /etc/dovecot/conf.d/90-sieve.conf and added the following: plugin { #sieve_extensions = +notify +imapflags sieve_extensions = +editheader .... Restarted dovecot and didn't work Looks like the content of 90-sieve.conf is ignored. dovecot -n show no rule

Fwd: help building very old R
Hi guys, Perhaps someone here can help. I am trying to build versions of R 1 for the rcheology package (just arrived on CRAN). For R prior to 1.5.0, I cannot configure support for tcl-tk. I am building on Debian Woody (provided by Docker debian/eol) and have the following packages installed: r-base-dev tclx8.3-dev tk8.3-dev xvfb xbase-clients x-window-system-core I download R source from

'object.size' takes a long time to return a value
I was using 'object.size' to see how much memory a list was taking up. After executing the command, I had thought that my computer had locked up. After further testing, I determined that it was taking 241 seconds for object.size to return a value. I did notice in the release notes that 'object.size' did take longer when the list contained character vectors. Is the time that it is

[LLVMdev] Bug? Coalescing & Updating Subreg Intervals
I have a question about what is going on at line 754 of SimpleRegisterCoalescing.cpp. The comment says we are updating the live intervals for subregisters. This happens when we coalesce to a physical register. Now, I read that as, "merge in the range information from the eliminated live interval to the subregister live interval," but that appears to not be what happens. In my case,

Thanks Samba Community!!!
You folks are the greatest. Rolled out my first Samba "member server" today. Read the stuff from SWAT, and it worked the first time on RH7.3, after it failed on RH8 You folks are the best, we're struggling to stay afloat and M$ squeezes us for more. (RH is pushing me to Debian by the day!!!) There will be a lot more Samba in the farm soon. My deepest grattitude. Respectully,

how to separate virtual delivery and authentication?
I have a "pure ldap" setting with postfix and dovecot. When using dovecot delivery, the recipient is checked via ldap. The same ldap query is used when authenticate. So, if I want to authenticate with the uid , I can't use a filter like uid=%u because the delivery will fail. I don't want to use %nor something else because I could use multiple e-mail addresses on a single

Fwd: help building very old R
Thanks for the tip. That could be a huge timesaver. But it lists only a single package for versions 0.90.1-2 ... how does that work? Managing cronjobs as a file in solaris with appendifnosuchline for specific servers
I want to manage cronjobs as a " file " in solaris through puppet and not using the puppet cron resource. I will be managing the file /var/spool/cron/crontabs/root. I want the cron file to be same across all servers except some servers will have additional cron entries. How can I append to the file /var/spool/cron/crontabs/root , something like appendifnosuchline in cfengine? Can
