Winbind+nss working on one centOS 5.2 box but not another
Hi all, I have an odd situation on my hands: * Two CentOS 5.2 boxes both joined to an AD domain. * Same samba version (3.0.28-1.el5_2.1) smb.conf, only the netbios names differ * Can enumerate users and groups using winbind -{u,g} on both. * nss doesn't enumerate users & groups on one (same lib versions, same conf file). //bentis@testukmcsstor1//:~$ rpm -qa | grep nss-

Firefox error msg.
After my / disk seemed to be failing and found many files disappeared, I decided to remove it. I moved my other disk to it's place. Long story omitted. After installing my backup of /home and seeing firefox not restart, I started it from the command line with the immediate error: Could not find compatible GRE between version 1.9.0.5 and 1.9.0.5. I'm sorry, I'm at a complete loss.

multicolumn sort on dataframe?
I couldn't find any reference to this in the FAQ, but is it possible to sort a dataframe by multiple columns? I've created some code, similar to the following: nspr.code <- sp.results$sp.code[order( sp.results$sp.code )] nspr.tpa <- sp.results$tpa[order( sp.results$sp.code )] nspr.code <- as.character( levels( nspr.code ) )[nspr.code] nspr.tpa <- as.numeric( levels( nspr.tpa

[error] avahi_entry_group_add_service_strlst("AdminNodeFQDN") failed: Invalid host name
Hi, After doing a clean install of ovirt in a Fedora 11 VM, I am unable to get anything working in the web interface. All I get is an error 500. Seamonkey
I saw the latest update announcements on the announce list, so I ran "yum check-update" and did not see seamonkey in the list. Which I guess makes sense, since it's a name change from mozilla. However, devhelp is in the list, and "yum update devhelp" pulls in seamonkey as a dependency. This seems like a sort of backdoor way to get seamonkey onto the system. Did these
