I use uids from this range for many, many years, since samba 3. :) And I want/need to use this range - to change it now would be a mess. Yes. The rf2307 attributes are part of the Samba AD schema. You don?t need the line in the DC unless under very exceptional circumstances. If you are not sure if you need the line, this means you don?t need the line. It will make your life easier. It was the default kerberos config on CentOS: /etc/krb5.conf Please add to the wiki page: https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Setting_up_Samba_as_an_Active_Directory_Domain_Controller that before provisioning we should remove this file.
