zfs list hangs if zfs send is killed (leaving zfs receive process)
I was in the process of doing a large zfs send | zfs receive when I decided that I wanted to terminate the the zfs send process. I killed it, but the zfs receive doesn''t want to die... In the meantime my zfs list command just hangs. Here is the tail end of the truss output from a "truss zfs list": ioctl(3, ZFS_IOC_OBJSET_STATS, 0x08043484) = 0 ioctl(3,

/dev/zfs ioctl performance
Hello, I have been trying to chase down some ZFS performance issues, and I was hoping someone with more ZFS experience might be able to comment. When running a "zfs list" command, it often takes several minutes to complete. I see similar behavior when running most other ZFS commands, such as "zfs set", or when creating a snapshot. While it is running, the load of the server

"zfs set sharenfs" takes a long time to return.
I have an X4500 fileserver (NFS, Samba) running OpenSolaris 2008.05 pkg upgraded to snv_91 with ~3200 filesystems (and ~27429 datasets, including snapshots). I''ve been encountering some pretty big slow-downs on this system when running certain zfs commands. The one causing me the most pain at the moment is setting the "sharenfs" property on a filesystem takes a little under 7

multipl disk failures cause zpool hang
Hi, There seems to be a few threads about zpool hang, do we have a workaround to resolve the hang issue without rebooting ? In my case, I have a pool with disks from external LUNs via a fiber cable. When the cable is unplugged while there is IO in the pool, All zpool related command hang (zpool status, zpool list, etc.), put the cable back does not solve the problem. Eventually, I

Logistic Regression - Interpreting SENS (Sensitivity) and SPEC (Specificity)
Hi Hi I am working on credit scoring model using logistic regression. I havd main sample of 42500 clentes and based on their status as regards to defaulted / non - defaulted, I have genereted the probability of default. I have a hold out sample of 5000 clients. I have calculated (1) No of correctly classified goods Gg, (2) No of correcly classified Bads Bg and also (3) number of wrongly

ROCR - confidence interval for Sens and Spec
Dear List,   I am new to ROC analysis and the package ROCR. I want to compute the confidence intervals of sensitivity and specificity for a given cutoff value. I have used the following to calculate sensitivity and specificity:   data(ROCR.simple) pred <- prediction(ROCR.simple$predictions, ROCR.simple$labels)   se.sp <- function (cutoff, performance) {     sens <-

Fw: Logistic regresion - Interpreting (SENS) and (SPEC)
Dear Mr Peter Dalgaard and Mr Dieter Menne, I sincerely thank you for helping me out with my problem. The thing is taht I already have calculated SENS = Gg / (Gg + Bg) = 89.97% and SPEC = Bb / (Bb + Gb) = 74.38%. Now I have values of SENS and SPEC, which are absolute in nature. My question was how do I interpret these absolue values. How does these values help me to find out wheher my model is

DNS resolutions is not working in a Solaris 10 DomU
Hi, I found a problem with the DNS resolution in a Solaris 10 DomU. The Test Environment was: I installed the Xen bfu on top of Solaris snv43 and booted the Dom0 with Solaris. Then I installed and booted a Solaris 10 DomU. In the Solaris 10 Dom0 the DNS resolution works; in the Solaris 10 DomU the DNS resolution does not work as expected: Inside the Solaris 10 DomU I can''t use

Small problem with src/lib/mountpoint.c
Greetings - Whilst playing with getting quotas from NFS-mounted filestores I've just discovered a slight problem with src/lib/mountpoint.c I had things working on a Solaris 10 test machine which had the mailstore mounted 'normally' using an entry in /etc/vfstab. However when I changed to use the automounter for the mailstore obtaining the quota broke. The problem lies with

zfs showing more filesystem using ls than df actually has
Platform T2000 SunOS ccluatdwunix1 5.10 Generic_125100-10 sun4v sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-T200 I have a user that stated zfs is allocating more file system space than actually available via ls command versus what df -k shows. He stated he used the mkfile to verify if ZFS quota was working. He executes "ls -s" to report usage which reports more allocated than available from "df

Sen's slope - fume package different output than zyp or wq
Hello, I am trying to decide which package to use to calculate the non-parametric Sen's Slope for identifying trends in rainfall data (determine the slope between all pairs of points and take the median of those slopes). I have found three packages that output Sen's: "zyp", "wq" and "fume". The outputs of "zyp.sen()" and "mannKen()" from
