Bluescreen with Latest GPLPV on Windows Server 2008 R2 on XEN3.4.1
Hi all,
my system is a XEN3.4.1 Dom0 Host System with a HVM Windows 2008 R2 machine.
After installation of the GPLPV driver ("gplpv_fre_wnet_AMD64_0.10.0.130.msi"), and an Reboot
the Windows Server 2008 R2 comes up and ends in a bluescreen, and immediately restarts.
Testsigning is ON.
What else can be done, or better what needs to be checked? Is there somebody who is facing the same

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL by xennet.sys, Server 2008 x64
Hey guys,
I''m trying to get a gentoo dom0 running on some new Nehalem boxes.
Our dozen or so existing servers run a xenified 2.6.21, but we can''t get the
new Intel network chipset working with it.
So, I''m giving a pv_ops dom0 from xen-tip/master a go, and Xen 3.4.1 to go
with it. rebase/master is a bit too bleeding edge for me. So far, it''s working
great.

Hi everyone
since I''m currently migrating from xm to xl and now are also a victim
of the said error, I started researching on it and found that many
people had the issue but not many found solution and behind this BSOD
(=Bluescreen of Death), there are actually multiple errors in hiding.
What I would like to do is gather as much info as possible in this
thread to form a kind of

'cancel-tcpip-forward' is not supported.
Hi there,
I'm developing ssh client in pure java and, recently, I'm trying
to improve the port forwarding support on that stuff.
However, it seems to me that sshd of OpenSSH has not supported
'cancel-tcpip-forward' request.
http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-ietf-secsh-connect-17.txt
says that

DOS-Client with TCPIP and SAMBA
Hi there,
I have a client in a network using a samba-server that has to use MSDOS, because
some software running on it needs a clean DOS. I installed the DOS-Client for
TCPIP that is available from Microsoft V 1.0 and it works fine; the only thing
is, that it takes so much memory below 640 K, that another program also running
under DOS does not function correctly anymore. Maybe some of the

TRUE, then the server allocates the next available unprivileged port
number and replies with the following message; otherwise, there is
no response-specific data.

Virtual ethernet delivers corrupt tcpip data
We came across this article recently. Does anyone know if libvirt-lxc
under CentOS 7 is impacted by this bug? It mentions that a fix for this
has been ported back as far as 3.14 kernels, but CentOS 7.1 is still
only at 3.10.

Windows GPLPV xenvbd.sys BSOD
Hi,
During the install of the univention.de-signed GPLPV drivers
(gplpv_Vista2008x64_signed_0.11.0.308.msi) on my Windows 7 guest, I get a BSOD
"DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" in xenvbd.sys. Afterwards, Windows won''t start.
I''m now trying to do a System Restore. I will try not installing the VBD driver
afterwards and see if the others do work.

Dovecot stable slow
A few days ago I installed dovecot stable to replace uw-imap. The
install went well and all boxes were converted ok. When accessing the
new imap server though, certain operations seem much slower, in
particular, moving mail between boxes is very slow, and I have received
several complaints from users that the mail server has slowed down. I
can't figure out what the slow point is as maildir

Win2K Client Intermittent Connections
We recently upgraded our main file server from a PIII to a P4 with raid
as well as did a fresh install of RedHat 9 leaving the old server
intact. Most everything went well, I copied all the config files over
for the different services and got samba running successfully. I tested
connecting to from different win boxes using 98, 98SE, NT4, and 2K, they
all were able to browse files and print

Win2K issues with printers and profiles
I have had the following problems both with the stock samba 2.2 server
that comes with RedHat 9 and several releases of samba 3.0, currently
it's at 3.0.14a.
When logging on to Windows 2000 computers using the samba server as an
NT domain controller, certain profiles seem to get permission errors and
windows just sticks you with a temporary profile that changes everytime
you log on. It seems
