Help: Vultech UPS 1500VA (richcomm_usb)
Hello and welcome! Just recently there was a trip down the memory lane with another device with Richcomm-based hardware, and ultimately nutdrv_qx driver happened to support that one: https://github.com/networkupstools/nut/issues/2395 Some key take-aways were: * try starting the driver with bumped debug verbosity (e.g. from command line, or using a `debug_min` setting with NUT v2.8.0 and

Problem with upsmon?
I have a Gentoo linux (OpenRC) desktop connected to a UPS, the brand is Vultech, but lsusb gives me this: Bus 003 Device 006: ID 0925:1234 Lakeview Research and I found an article about this hardware here, someone had it working with the richcomm_usb driver: http://verahill.blogspot.it/2012/12/kstar-australia-1500-va-ups-on-debian.html So, I installed nut and configured my UPS to work with the

Richcomm Serial driver
Hi, I'm trying to configure my ups with nut which is a locally made one. It uses a rs232 port to talk to the computer and comes with a software called "Powermanager Lite" which is provided by Richcomm and supports Windows, Linux and UNIX. According to the manual it uses the Richcomm circuitry to talk to the computer and uses a drycontact protocol. Unfortunately I couldn't

Cyber Power LE1000DG UPS
I have a Cyber Power LE1000DG UPS I got from Best Buy this weekend. I plan to use it with a TrueNAS scale system, and it is connected via USB. Vendor link: https://www.cyberpowersystems.com/product/ups/battery-backup/le1000dg/. TrueNAS has you pick a UPS driver. I could not find any "LE" related models on https://networkupstools.org/stable-hcl.html (which is the list TrueNAS uses). Per

Sweex 1000VA UPS (Lakeview Research)
Hi all, i've read a thread about this UPS from Peter van Valderen. He tried to develop a driver for this specific type of UPS. I've downloaded nut-2.2.2 and tried to apply the patches (lakeview.patch & lakeview.v2.patch) but both resulted in rejected chunks. I've tried to ./configure with type lakeview and then a make, but the make command fails. Does anybody has any

How do I get the richcomm_usb driver
I am a complete novice in this area so please bear with me. I have installed nut version 2.6.2-1 for my debian 64bit system. I am trying to implement 'nut' for a new VIX2120 home UPS and have determined that I need the richcomm_usb driver [usb 0925:1234]. But it is not in /lib/nut although referenced in the documentation (driver.list) How do get hold of a copy? Due to ignorance I am not

Smart-UPS RT 3000 XL: very old or unknown APC model, support will be limited
I have a Smart-UPS RT 3000 XL connected via serial cable to TrueNAS TrueNAS-9.2.1.2-RELEASE-x64 (002022c) which runs on FreeBSD 9.2-RELEASE-p3. When I start the NUT service, I get the message: Oct 20 01:53:50 truenas notifier: very old or unknown APC model, support will be limited Which I interpret as an indicator of less than optimal operating mode. I suspect that the model identifier is not

memory consumption with treesize pro and cifs shares
Hi everyone. I'm looking to solve an issue with Samba on a NAS being accessed with TreeSize Pro. Using that program to scan through millions of files is eating up memory on swap and eventually crashing the system. It's scanning mounted CIFS shares on the NAS running TrueNAS with samba version 3.6.9 We have a test case and have been able to replicate the issue on another machine. The

process_lanman_packet: Discarding datagram from IP 192.168.100.29. Source name STORAGE7<00> is one of our names !
Hi I have a bunch of FreeNAS servers and a TrueNAS HA server all spamming the logs with these messages every minute about their own source name (examples below). These boxes are on two physically separate networks, and I find it unlikely both networks should have some sort of undetected loop. Any ideas on how to debug this? Samba version is 4.1.18. Help with USB support for a Kebo UPS-650D
Folks, I'm fairly new to this whole Linux UPS thingie, but I'd quite like to have a look at getting my UPS to work under Linux and would be grateful for any help in getting a driver. I have a reasonable working knowledge of Linux and software development, and thus am happy to modify config files, alter kernel settings, etc, although I'm no C guru. I have a Kebo UPS-650D, which

EPYC Quantum 1500va
Good Evening, I recently purchased an EPYC quantum UPS. I installed NUT on the home assistant by connecting the UPS via USB and tried all the various drivers in the list, the only one that seems to work is: usbhid-ups with this log: s6-rc: info: service s6rc-oneshot-runner: starting s6-rc: info: service s6rc-oneshot-runner successfully started s6-rc: info: service base-addon-banner: starting

nutdrv-qx powercool 1500VA USB UPS
Matthew, I've looked briefly at the files you uploaded to GitHub and it seems to me that the device is like something that should work with the 'fabula' USB subdriver (and 'megatec' protocol): what are the issues you are experiencing and that prevent the driver to work?
