I have a FreeBSD 6.2-based server running a 1.2TB graid3 volume, which consists of 5x 320gb SATA hard drives. I've been getting errors in /var/log/messages from the graid3 volume, which I suspect means an underlying fault with one of the disks, but is there any way to decipher which one of these drives is throwing errors? I am use to low random entropy on my arm boards, not an intel. On my Lenovo x120e, cat /proc/sys/kernel/random/entropy_avail reports 3190 bits of entropy. On my armv7 with Centos7 I would get 130 unless I installed rng-tools and then I get ~1300. SSH into one and it drops back to 30! for a few minutes. Sigh. Just discovered that there might be a problem with the latest Dovecot update thru portupgrade. If I reboot my BSD (6.2-PRERELEASE), it stopped/hanged during boot-sequence. Thanks to Jack Raats problem is solved now; he will explain _exactly_ what went wrong... regards, Jos

Hi, Somehow[TM] an installation of 4.11 to ad0s3 managed to wipe out my existing disklabel for 7.0 on ad0s4. I now need to recover the disklabel to get my system to boot! There were three labels - ad0s4a: UFS, exact size unknown. Is it possible to infer this from the UFS partition size?
