New Improved Chime
This marks the first community contribution to the Chime visualization tool for DTrace. A huge thanks to Bill Rushmore for creating a new main window for Chime. Previously a simple stack of buttons, Chime now uses the Netbeans Matisse layout to present a scrollable list and a description pane. When you create a new display, you can now provide helpful descriptive text. Bill also pointed out

Java Problems
Hi. This post follows on from: http://lists.xensource.com/archives/html/xen-devel/2005-04/msg00185.html And is possibly related to the bug referenced here: http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do;:YfiG?bug_id=4335360 In summary: Java processes are doing odd things. 1) It appears that number values are mysteriously changing. e.g. if you look at the Hashtable error there is no way the

SMC Webconsole 3.1 and ZFS Administration 1.0 - stacktraces in snv_b89
I''ve installed SXDE (snv_89) and found that the web console only listens on https://localhost:6789/ now, and the module for ZFS admin doesn''t work. When I open the link, the left frame lists a stacktrace (below) and the right frame is plain empty. Any suggestions? I tried substituting different SUNWzfsgr and SUNWzfsgu packages from older Solarises (x86/sparc, snv_77/84/89,

[LLVMdev] vmkit2 core dump after building mmtk
Arg, you have to use a version strictly before the 7u25 (probably the 7u21), sorry! I hope that it will work, because I also have problem to compile the trunk version of vmkit (I haven't tested the trunk since two months). I'm investigating. Tell me if it works for you with an older version :) See you, Gaël PS: the warning messages are not important 2013/11/21 Adam Pridgen

(no subject)
Hi, I had been using a script that works fine for several days and then I stopped using it for a month without having doubt that it would not be working. When I use it again today, I received an error when I reach the last step of generating the data file. *"Error in .jcall(wb, "Lorg/apache/poi/ss/usermodel/Sheet;", "createSheet", : * *

ActionWebService and namespaces
Hi all, I''ve tried to search the mailing list, web, etc. and haven''t found anything that seems to answer my question. I have a WSDL for a web service written in Java, and I''m trying to consume it in ruby using ActionWebService. I''ve created my API and some struct classes. I''ve found the :namespace option to ActionWebService::Client::Soap.new, but

[LLVMdev] vmkit2 core dump after building mmtk
Thanks for your help so far Gaël, but I ran into more trouble. I installed the JDK on my system and the messages indicated the JVM version needs to be 1.6. Did you intend to link me to Java 7? JSpeex - Unsupported conversion
I'm having difficulty encoding audio using the JSpeex Speex Encoder. My program throws an "Unsupported conversion" exception and I can't figure out why. I've read the related posts and I think I'm doing everything that was recommended. I'm working on Linux, by the way. Any help would be greatly appreciated. JSpeex - Unsupported conversion
This is best answered by the jspeex folks, as it is the interfacing code that you are having problems with. That being said, it looks like, just as it says, you have asked for a conversion it cannot do -- you want it to convert PCM data to speex data at 44.1kHz sample rate -- speex only supports 8kHz in standard operation. It can also support 16kHz (wb) and 32kHz (uwb), but nothing outside of
