IFRAME based RJS - responds_to_parent
** File uploads with AJAX mojo ** Respond with RJS to your parent window with a form action targeted to a hidden IFRAME. Handles all the painful situations like scoping your JavaScript to your parent window generating the script block for execution and clearing the IFRAME after execution so the back button doesn''t re-execute the action. `plugin install

Urgent!!!! responds_to_parent error
Hello I am trying to upload a picture and refrecar layer with responds_to_parent. I have this form rhtml ------ <% form_for(photo, :url => {:action => "create", :tID => params[:tID] }, :html => { :multipart => true, :target => "uploadFrame", :id => ''uploadPhotoForm'' }) do |f| -%> <tr> <td> <div

Ajax Form with Multipart File Upload in Rails 3.0
How would I achieve this? In Rails 2.x, I would use responds_to_parent, but it seems quite unsupported now. What plugins/gems do people use nowadays that would automate 1) targeting form to iframe 2) sending javascript to iframe 3) having the javascript execute another javascript on parent page Thank you, Sharkie -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/. -- You received this message because

Best practices for long-running Samba server
Hi all, I have been having the weirdest network browsing problems on my network the past week. Come to find out the wins.dat file got corrupted. Removing that file fixed everything. Because our systems typically have uptimes measured in months rather than days, and it is difficult for me to restart Samba except as a scheduled task (which I'm afraid to do because there are users who

CentOS 7 MATE flakey mouse
I'm using the MATE desktop (via 'yum groupinstall "MATE Desktop"') on CentOS 7. I'm finding the mouse to be rather flakey in the sense that: - in MATE Terminal, clicking on text and dragging the mouse (in order to highlight the text and copy it to the X cut & paste buffer) will sometimes drop the highlight (thus not copying anything), or stop and

Flakey failure on clang-ppc64le-linux-multistage
Thanks everyone for this discussion. Turns out that in my effort to make it possible to run multiple instances of this script in parallel, I inadvertently hid the issue. I made each instance use a directory that has $1 appended to the name and the wrapper script provided a unique value with $LINENO. :( MaskRay, thanks for fixing the problem. All the PPC bots are back to green now. On Thu, Sep 3,

access of WML site through cell phone seems flakey
I just started a new subdomain on hosting rails. I launched it a couple of days ago. It is a site that can render onto mobile devices using WAP/WML or through a regular browser. It seems flaky with the mobile cell phone access, because sometimes it works and sometimes it stops working for several hours and then it seems like it''s fine again, with a regular browser it seems ok, though

Flakey failure on clang-ppc64le-linux-multistage
Well, I am at my wit's end. I have copied over the script and directories for this test case and run it a few million times. First I was running one at a time, then I switched to kicking off 1000 at a time. All the while, the bots continued to run on the same machine. The script never failed even once. I am not sure if this has something to do with Python as part of llvm-lit or what is going

Problem getting form_remote_tag to work with image upload
Hey guys, I am trying to pass the parameters for the file being upload, but the params[] are not being passed. Ive read through some posts and realize this is an issue with RoR. I read through some of the posts and someone suggested using: http://svn.kylemaxwell.com/form_remote_upload/trunk/ I tried to install it, and although I thought I installed it correctly, it doesn''t work.

Programs under wine can't connect to the network
Hey all Have a very strange problem in slack 8, using wine 20011004. First noticed this with counterstrike, than checked with other programs that should access the net. I get this error, and programs fail: fixme:winsock:_get_sock_fd handle 304 is not a socket (GLE 6) Documentation seems to imply that if I can get on the net with linux, I should be able to use wine with it. Weirdest part is

Flakey failure on clang-ppc64le-linux-multistage
Sure. I didn't use lit or ninja. I simply copied the script produced by lit (/home/buildbots/ppc64le-clang-multistage-test/clang-ppc64le-multistage/stage1/tools/clang/test/Driver/Output/target-override.c.script) into a temporary directory (along with a deep copy of the build directory). I modified the paths in the script to point to the temporary directory. Then I ran the script in a loop. For

Flakey failure on clang-ppc64le-linux-multistage
This is likely due to a race condition (%T is a shared parent directory). I'll put up a patch to fix it. Looping multiple dimensions
Dear all, I have 30 arrays, each with dimensions 720,360,12. The naming format for each of these 30 objects is: mrunoff_5221, mrunoff_5222... mrunoff_5250. For example: > str(mrunoff_5221) ? num [1:720, 1:360, 1:12] NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA ...? (the initial NA's are nothing to worry about) I am looking for a way by which I can extract each of the third dimension of these grids
