2.0beta4 doesn't respond to DONE after untagged FETCH during IDLE
Using K-9 Mail to IDLE on a test folder "MyIncTmp". When there is a flag change on a message in the folder, which generates an untagged FETCH, K-9 Mail responds with a DONE, but dovecot does not exit IDLE state (LOG 1). However, if a new message is delivered, generating an untagged EXISTS, K-9 Mail responds the same way, with a DONE, and dovecot does exit IDLE state. (LOG 2) You

CentOS 6.4 Samba 3.6.9 Regression
Anyone know the reason RHEL bumped Samba from 3.5.10 to 3.6.9? This version has a regression with BackupExec and Veeam backing up to network shares. I receive access denied errors. Samba is in security=user mode and not joined to a domain. If I downgrade just the Samba packages to the CentOS 6.3 version 3.5.10 everything works again. I've found a couple of bug reports and the one suggested fix

backuppc does support pre- and post- backup scripts, so it is possible to implement backing up from vss. Upgrading SAMBA from 4.2.2 to 4.2.13
Hey everyone Have a (relatively) old CentOS SAMBA4 Active Directory running version 4.2.2, time to upgrade to the latest in the 4.2 series. As it's running as a VM on ESXI I have it backed up by VEEAM and I can take a snapshot before making any changes. Any major items to be aware of before upgrading to 4.2.13? Any reason I should not perhaps be looking a bit further to the 4.4.x

Well, I wasn't a member of this list until today
But I guess with Akemi dragging me out over the OS_Protection page, I'm a member now :-P I've got no problem discussing it or other changes here. I set it up on my blog mostly because there wasn't a way to have comments on the page, and I didn't want to open the wiki page up to editing by outside sources right away. -- During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes

Bug : Autocorrelation in sample drawn from stats::rnorm (hmh)
Hi Hugo, I've been able to replicate your bug, including for other distributions (runif, rexp, rgamma, etc) which shouldn't be surprising since they're probably all drawing from the same pseudo-random number generator. ?Interestingly, it does not seem to depend on the choice of seed, I am not sure why that is the case. I'll point out first of all that the R-devel mailing list is

The simplest bar graph with ggplot is difficult to realize
Dear all, What is the simplest way of producing a bar graph using ggplot but avoiding calling qplot? That is, given: d <- data.frame(x=seq(1,5), y=seq(1,5)) Why does the following line return an error? ggplot(d, aes(x=x, y=y)) + stat_identity() + geom_bar(bindwidth=1) Thanks in advance, jcb!
