[PATCH v5 0/3] drm/nouveau: set DMA mask before mapping scratch page
This v4 is now a 3 piece series (since v4), after Alexandre pointed out that both GF 100 and NV50 are affected by the same issue, and that a related issue has been solved already for Tegra in commit 9d0394c6bed5 ("drm/nouveau/instmem/gk20a: set DMA mask early"). The issue that this series addresses is the fact that the Nouveau driver invokes the DMA API before setting the DMA mask. In

[PATCH 0/3] fb fixes for gk20a/gm20b
After observing random crashes on Tegra devices when patch "fb/gf100: defer DMA mapping of scratch page to oneinit() hook" was applied, I noticed that moving the 100c10 page allocation to the oneinit() hook resulted in that page being now allocated for Tegra as well, and accesses be made to members of gf100_fb which were not accessible because gk20a_fb_new() called nvkm_fb_new_()

[PATCH] nouveau/gsp: don't check devinit disable on GSP.
From: Dave Airlie <airlied at redhat.com> GSP should be handling this and I can see no evidence in opengpu driver that this register should be touched. Fixed acceleration on 2080 Ti GPUs. [PATCH] nouveau/gsp: fix getting max channel id for GSP
From: Dave Airlie <airlied at redhat.com> The fence code uses the total number of channel ids to allocate a bunch of memory for fencing. This is probably not the best way to do this, but it's hard to fix right now. The GSP code realises it can fit 8 channels into a USERD page, so it claims it can support 256 channels max, but it then allocates channel ids sparsely (0, 8, 16 etc). This

[PATCH] nouveau/gsp/r535: Fix a NULL vs error pointer bug
The r535_gsp_cmdq_get() function returns error pointers but this code checks for NULL. Also we need to propagate the error pointer back to the callers in r535_gsp_rpc_get(). Returning NULL will lead to a NULL pointer dereference. Fixes: 176fdcbddfd2 ("drm/nouveau/gsp/r535: add support for booting GSP-RM") Signed-off-by: Dan Carpenter <dan.carpenter at linaro.org> ---

Boot GSP node with KVM and VirtIO
I'm trying to boot a virtual GSP node with Linux KVM and VirtIO. While the install itself detects both the VirtIO harddisk (/dev/vdx) and VirtIO ethernet nic and completes successfully, I'm not able to boot the virtual machine from it. After POST I can only see the GSP boot message and the countdown timer, but when the timer reach 0 it stalls. When I reassign the _same_ disk as IDE or SCSI
