This is probably not the best way to do this, but it's hard to fix right now. The GSP code realises it can fit 8 channels into a USERD page, so it claims it can support 256 channels max, but it then allocates channel ids sparsely (0, 8, 16 etc). This

The r535_gsp_cmdq_get() function returns error pointers but this code checks for NULL. Also we need to propagate the error pointer back to the callers in r535_gsp_rpc_get(). I'm trying to boot a virtual GSP node with Linux KVM and VirtIO. While the install itself detects both the VirtIO harddisk (/dev/vdx) and VirtIO ethernet nic and completes successfully, I'm not able to boot the virtual machine from it.
