ustack()s of SIGSEGV''ed programs
Hi all, I am trying to write a D script which would print ustack() for every program in the system receiving SIGSEGV. All the stacks printed in trap()/sigtoproc() context do not have meaningful symbols. The following solves the problem to some degree but I''d much rather have a self-contained D script. dtrace -w -n ''fbt:genunix:sigtoproc:entry/arg2 == 11/ {

iostat -xn 5 _donot_ update: how to use DTrace
on Solaris 10 5.10 Generic_118822-23 sun4v sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-T200 I run #iostat -xn 5 to monitor the IO statistics on SF T2000 server. The system also have a heavy IO load, for some reason iostat donot refresh (no any update). It seems like iostat is calling pause() and stucked there. Also my HBA driver''s interrupt stack trace indicates there is a lot of swtch(), the overall IOPS

[Fwd: [networking-discuss] code-review: fine-grained privileges for datalink administration]
Crossbow team, The following is of interest to the Crossbow project. Since a large chunk of these changes also exist in the Crossbow gate, the delivery of this wad will result in fewer lines of changes for Crossbow''s delivery. If someone on Crossbow could participate in this review, that would be a bonus (Eric Cheng made original changes in the Crossbow gate at some point last year).

igraph o network

Any progress on undirected self-referential many to many relationships?
I am going to re-ask a question that has been asked a few times in the past. What is the best way to represent an undirected self-referential many to many relationship. Trivial examples of this include an edge in an undirected graph, or a mutual friendship. Alice is a person Bob is a person Alice and Bob are friends of each other We have a whole bunch of extra information about their friendship

prstat -Z and load average values in different zones give same numeric results
Folks, Perplexing question about load average display with prstat -Z Solaris 10 OS U4 (08/07) We have 4 zones with very different processes and workloads.. The prstat -Z command issued within each of the zones, correctly displays the number of processes and lwps, but the load average value looks exactly the same on all non-global zones..I mean all 3 values (1,5,15 load averages) are the same

imap cores
Experts, (Now that I am able to run imap...) Here's what I am seeing with imap, it seems to die in the latest nightly. (tss, I am still trying to get dbx to work properly, maybe it won't, but I got some more details here.) ... 2 select "INBOX" * FLAGS (\Answered \Flagged \Deleted \Seen \Draft) * OK [PERMANENTFLAGS (\Answered \Flagged \Deleted \Seen \Draft \*)] Flags permitted.

Maximum zfs send/receive throughput
It seems we are hitting a boundary with zfs send/receive over a network link (10Gb/s). We can see peak values of up to 150MB/s, but on average about 40-50MB/s are replicated. This is far away from the bandwidth that a 10Gb link can offer. Is it possible, that ZFS is giving replication a too low priority/throttling it too much?

Graph visualization
Hello, I am working with graph and adjacency matrix, the package 'graph' seems to be appropriate for this. An example in the package > mat <- rbind(c(0, 0, 1, 1), + c(0, 0, 1, 1), + c(1, 1, 0, 1), + c(1, 1, 1, 0)) > rownames(mat) <- colnames(mat) <- letters[1:4] > graph1 <- new("graphAM", adjMat=mat) > graph1 A

Weighted Graph Link strength ( I am making mistake please help)
Hello R experts, I went through R mailing,Nabble R.I could not find solution.Can someone help me. I have undirected Graph. Here is an example of spreadsheet I have( Unique 3559 Nodes) snippet of 4 rows. Node1 Node2 Weights 1 2 5 2 3 30 2 4 30 1 4 5 3 4 30 1 3 2 I created a program reading the csv and created a Adjacency matrix.From the adjacency matrix I created graph.I am not sure the

[LLVMdev] tbaa metadata representation
Hi all, A while ago there was a discussion on changing the current "set of trees" representation of TBAA metadata to be more expressive, prompted by the need to support C structs. Dan Gohman also talked about the issue here: http://llvm.org/devmtg/2012-11/Gohman-AliasAnalysis.pdf. It was suggested that the trees be replaced by a type DAG then. While working on this compiler

graph or svn
Hello all, I'm having a spot of trouble. I have made a very nice distance matrix from some comparison calculations. However, the matrix is 3096 x 3096, so it's relatively large. Currently I'm using the svn package as it seems to work for my data. The graph package errors and says the "adjacency matrix must be symmetric for undirected graphs". I though 3096 x 3096 was

plot - kamada.kawai layout without arrows

Please let me know how to avoid this. g <- watts.strogatz.game(1, 2000, 5, 0.4) comps <- clusters(g)$membership colbar <- rainbow(max(comps)+1) V(g)$color <- colbar[comps+1] png(filename) plot(g, layout=layout.kamada.kawai, vertex.size=2, vertex.label=NA) dev.off() Please find

Is there any way to check if DTrace is running or a DTrace probe is enabled?
Hi, I am adding DTrace probes within NFS v3 client. In my current implementation, I use some tsd_*() functions and kmem_zalloc() function. These functions might be heavy and affect the performance. I want to call this function only when DTrace is running or the DTrace probes are enable. So is there a way to check DTrace is running or DTrace probe is enabled? Regards, Danhua

use tracemem to dump content in function read/write
Hi Expert I want to use dtrace to monitor the content change of one file. I made following scripts, #!/usr/sbin/dtrace -s inline int MYPID = $1; syscall::write:entry /pid == MYPID/ { tracemem(arg1, arg2); printf("\n"); } It always has an following error bash-3.00$ sudo dumpFIFO.dtrace 3836 dtrace: failed to compile script ./dumpFIFO.dtrace: line 19: tracemem( ) argument #2
