WMD: the Wysiwym Markdown Editor
Hi, I recently released WMD, a WYSIWYG-style Markdown editor in JavaScript: http://wmd-editor.com/ The idea is to make Markdown more accessible to first-time users. how to work on multiple R objects?...
Hello, Happy New Year!... I am encountering a problem trying to work on the data that I load in R. I have loaded to R a series of stock data using (csv files are named e.g. IBM.R) length.R <- length(list.files(".", pattern=".R")) # the number of files with one #column in the directory "./" ending to ".R" for (i in 1:length.R) {

Howdy to all, We've been using isolinux quite successfully for quite some time now, and I have come across a couple of laptops where isolinux balks at my config file.. Upon booting on this systems, the image background appears corrupted, and at the boot prompt, the following happens automatically. Unknown keyword in config file. Could not find kernel image: 1 boot: Any label input here

Deliver, sendmail, virtual users, and catch-all addresses
I have spent a long time looking into this and can't find the answer I'm looking for, so I'm asking here. I'm cutting the example down to just the bare minimums. This is NOT my actual configuration, but is sufficient for asking this question: How can I use dovecot's deliver LDA to deliver to virtual users, but then have unknown virtual users fall back to catch-all

Here's a bit of code that works fine - tmp <- metacont(samplesize.2, pctdropout.2, sddropout.2, samplesize.1, pctdropout.1, sddropout.1, data=Dataset, sm="WMD") I would now like to control for a couple of variables (continuous and categorical) that aren't in the equation. Is meta

Markdown Editor plugin for Eclipse
Hello, I'd like to announce an improved version of my Markdown Editor plugin for the popular Eclipse Java + everything else IDE. The Markdown plugin has moved from it's old location. The new location is: http://winterwell.com/software/markdown-editor.php There's syntax highlighting, a preview window, and it can export to html. The best feature is the document outline, which is a joy

Mac markdown editor that saves as .txt (John Laudun)
John, you've hit the nail on the head here. I finally know I can manually change my files to the .txt extension (thanks to helpful suggestions here), but it would be excellent if MMD Composer: a) had an option in the drop-down to save with the .txt extension, and b) had a preference the user could set to choose the default file extension for all files. It would increase ease of

Markdown editor for CentOS 7?
Hi, I recently discovered Markdown, and I'm currently using it to write some documentation for CentOS 7. https://github.com/kikinovak/formation-linux For the time being, I'm using my good old Vim editor for writing it. I turned off syntax highlighting, since this produces random results with Markdown. Pages are correctly displayed on Github, but in order to see them, I have to push

Mac markdown editor that saves as .txt
Hi all, I'm a newer user of markdown & MultiMarkdown, and I'm looking for the perfect setup of software for my Mac and my Android phone. I'd like to have my drafts editable from both. What I want is an attractive Mac app for writing (primarily blog posts and emails) that saves its files as .txt . Most of them save as .md or .markdown instead, and since there doesn't seem to

Cross Site Sniper 0.2 (stable)
I''m pleased to announce the release of Cross Site Sniper 0.2. Cross Site Sniper is one more addition to the ever growing list of tools that attempt to provide a convenient and DRY method to protect Rails sites from Cross Site Scripting (XSS) attacks. There are many plugins and tools out there that attempt to address this issue, but none of them met my requirements. So, I created
