[PATCH] Fix for crash with certain EFIs
Thank you all.
It looks like -mno-red-zone flag is already in master branch since
commit 7d70885d, but it seems it is applied to all EFI builds.
IIUC, the problem only affects efi64 builds.
So here's the modification of my patch to only apply -mno-red-zone
flag to efi64 target. The patch is against master. I verified that it
builds correctly in master. Please feel free to accept or reject

gcc4 warnings
Below is a patch to get rid of several warnings which occur while
building syslinux 3.07 with the current gcc 4 snapshot. This fixes all
the warnings except one unused variable.
Take them or leave them as you see fit. They're all com32 stuff that's
pulled in from external sources.

[PATCH] pci: rename get_module_name_from_pci_ids
Rename get_module_name_from_pci_ids to get_module_name_from_pcimap since
the module names are read from the modules.pcimap and not pci.ids file.

compile error about 6.0.2
It's x86 arch. The reason of compiling pxelinux only is that i want to add tcp support, not http and ftp.

[PATCH 0/1] EFI access from Com32 modules
This patch adds to Com32 modules the capabilities of accessing the EFI environment
The idea is simple, the EFI parameters "image" and "table" received by syslinux.efi's
efi_main() are stored in the "firmware" structure, next they are retrieved from the Com32
module which is linked against the gnu-efi static library. The Com32 module can use the EFI

klibc wrapper
Hi
I've managed to compile klibc 0.198 and run the hello world program.
How can I compile my own program?
Can someone give an example or provide a simple wrapper program for doing this?
like uclibc did with their earlier versions.
I looked at the make process and did a bit reading and figure out this much:
gcc -Wp,[preprocessor options] -MT,[target_name_I_think] tests/hello.o,

Register parameters are unsafe with gcc 3.3.2
I have the following toolchain:
$ ld --version
GNU ld version 2.15.90.0.3 20040415
$ gcc --version
gcc (GCC) 3.3.2
I attempted to build klibc with this toolchain. It builds without
errors, but the included "ash" shell does not function properly.
Testcase:
read cmdline </proc/cmdline
echo $cmdline
The first command prints a message:
cannot open /proc/cmdline: error 14

research more fully.

To avoid annoying warning from gcc I had to check for compatibility with
-falign-* like we do in arch/i386/Makefile.
