[GIT PULL] elflink fixes
Hi Peter, The main part of this pull request includes commits that try to replace as many __intcall() invocations as possible. Some remain, but not many (and eventually they'll be gone too). There's also a patch to make better use of ld's --as-needed option and various other bug fixes/cleanups. The following changes since commit ff7334a2ce536b7f4b1f6d6f93ff4e285a3bd45a: Only

[PATCH 0/5] Deleting __intcall() from Syslinux
From: Matt Fleming <matt.fleming at intel.com> Since we can't use __intcall() for EFI, and since we can now have the ELF module code resolve all our symbols at runtime, we should delete as many references to __intcall() as possible and just access the symbols directly. The most interesting patch is the support for weak symbols. We need to be able to reference derivative-specific

SYSLINUX Anatomy
Greetings, As a Google Summer of Code student for the SYSLINUX project, I had the chance to learn many interesting things from hpa regarding the internals of SYSLINUX. So besides my main task of implementing ELF modules loading & linking, I decided to put down in the wiki all the information I found concerning SYSLINUX development. In this regard, I have created a special category on the

[LLVMdev] Generating Consistent Instruction IDs
Hi, I'd like to ask you what's the best way of generating instruction identifiers which are consistent across independent invocations of the LLVM program. One way would be to use a counter and iterate over all the functions, then all the BBs. But are there any guarantees on the ordering of the functions and BBs in the iteration? In extremis, I can sort the functions after name, but what

u32 classifier
Hi folks...!!! I´ve a problem that i did not solve it. i want to limit the DOWNLOAD to my hosts (upstream traffic for the firewall) using IMQ, If i classify by PORT (source or destination) all seems to be fine, but...BUT...if i want to restrict by IP addresss (internal IP address) i can´t do it, because my hosts go to Internet toward the firewall using NAT, so after NAT my IP address in

Spacing of text does not match spacing of bars in barplot
I have a very standard barplot. My labels are too long to be printed horizontally under each bar, so I am using text to put the labels on a 45 degree slant. However, the labels are spaced more narrowly than the bars, so on an 8 vertical bar plot, the end of the eighth label is lined up with the seventh bar. Preferably I don't want to do every text label separately (I'm having this

COM32 and network access
Hi! i'm kinda investigating the possibility of using COM32 to manage an in-house installation method. For this to work, we need to have network access (HTTP preferred) from within COM32 itself. That or any kind of query/response type of network access. This is an example of what we could use: GET /somewhere/blah.asp?MACHINE=THIS and parse the response from the server. We're completely

com32 fswrite to filesystem
Hello, Pardon the newbee question but I'd like to be able to log to disk from within syslinux (extlinux actually, as it's a ext2 fs). fopen("w") does not appear to be implemented (returns EINVAL). Has anyone written the filesystem write support, and if not, any suggested routes? Should I just implement the lower level BIOS disk write support, add the FS layer, and go from
