[PATCH] [v4] nouveau: add command-line GSP-RM registry support
Add the NVreg_RegistryDwords command line parameter, which allows specifying additional registry keys to be sent to GSP-RM. This allows additional configuration, debugging, and experimentation with GSP-RM, which uses these keys to alter its behavior. Note that these keys are passed as-is to GSP-RM, and Nouveau does not parse them. This is in contrast to the Nvidia driver, which may parse some

[PATCH][next] nouveau/gsp: replace zero-length array with flex-array member and use __counted_by
Fake flexible arrays (zero-length and one-element arrays) are deprecated, and should be replaced by flexible-array members. So, replace zero-length array with a flexible-array member in `struct PACKED_REGISTRY_TABLE`. Also annotate array `entries` with `__counted_by()` to prepare for the coming implementation by GCC and Clang of the `__counted_by` attribute. Flexible array members annotated with

[PATCH] nouveau/gsp/r535: Fix a NULL vs error pointer bug
The r535_gsp_cmdq_get() function returns error pointers but this code checks for NULL. Also we need to propagate the error pointer back to the callers in r535_gsp_rpc_get(). Returning NULL will lead to a NULL pointer dereference. Fixes: 176fdcbddfd2 ("drm/nouveau/gsp/r535: add support for booting GSP-RM") Signed-off-by: Dan Carpenter <dan.carpenter at linaro.org> ---

[PATCH] drm/nouveau/dp: Fix incorrect return code in r535_dp_aux_xfer()
I've recently been seeing some unexplained GSP errors on my RTX 6000 from failed aux transactions: [ 132.915867] nouveau 0000:1f:00.0: gsp: cli:0xc1d00002 obj:0x00730000 ctrl cmd:0x00731341 failed: 0x0000ffff While the cause of these is not yet clear, these messages made me notice that the aux transactions causing these transactions were succeeding - not failing. As it turns out, this

[PATCH AUTOSEL 6.1 5/5] nouveau: fix disp disabling with GSP
From: Dave Airlie <airlied at gmail.com> [ Upstream commit 7854ea0e408d7f2e8faaada1773f3ddf9cb538f5 ] This func ptr here is normally static allocation, but gsp r535 uses a dynamic pointer, so we need to handle that better. This fixes a crash with GSP when you use config=disp=0 to avoid disp problems. Signed-off-by: Dave Airlie <airlied at redhat.com> Link:

[PATCH] ocfs2: Plugs race between the dc thread and an unlock ast message
This patch plugs a race between the downconvert thread and an unlock ast message. Specifically, after the downconvert worker has done its task, the dc thread needs to check whether an unlock ast made the downconvert moot. [PATCH] nouveau/gsp: Avoid addressing beyond end of rpc->entries
Using the end of rpc->entries[] for addressing runs into both compile-time and run-time detection of accessing beyond the end of the array. Use the base pointer instead, since was allocated with the additional bytes for storing the strings. [PATCH] nouveau/gsp: fix getting max channel id for GSP
From: Dave Airlie <airlied at redhat.com> The fence code uses the total number of channel ids to allocate a bunch of memory for fencing. This is probably not the best way to do this, but it's hard to fix right now. The GSP code realises it can fit 8 channels into a USERD page, so it claims it can support 256 channels max, but it then allocates channel ids sparsely (0, 8, 16 etc). This
