Trying to compile DAHDI on Pidora 2014 (RPi)
I just purchased an Amfeltec USB-FXO adapter and am trying to compile DAHDI 2.10 on a Raspberry PI running Pidora 2014 R3. I have all the dependencies but I get an error and cannot finish. Is it even possible to compile DAHDI for the ARM plataform? Here is the error I am getting: root at astpi dahdi-linux-complete-2.10.2+2.10.2]# make make -C linux all make[1]: Entering directory

[PATCH 1/4] add scsi-target and IO_CMD_EPOLL_WAIT patches
This includes two kernel patches, scsi-target and IO_CMD_EPOLL_WAIT. The former is a modified version of the scsi target infrastructure in mainline. The latter enables applications to handle AIO and non-AIO fds in the same loop. blktap uses the different patch, AIO event queue patch for the same aim. The IO_CMD_EPOLL_WAIT patch will be merged into mainline (and the AIO event queue will not) so

[PATCH 07/22] block: Convert bio_for_each_segment() to bvec_iter
More prep work for immutable biovecs - with immutable bvecs drivers won't be able to use the biovec directly, they'll need to use helpers that take into account bio->bi_iter.bi_bvec_done. This updates callers for the new usage without changing the implementation yet. Signed-off-by: Kent Overstreet <kmo at daterainc.com> Cc: Jens Axboe <axboe at kernel.dk> Cc: Geert

Mandrake & CAPI
All, I have been trying to get CAPI4Linux working on my machine and being frank am failing miserably! I am looking for any help available, I am real newbie (so please be gentle) and choose to run Mandrake 9.2 as it appears quite friendly (or so I thought!). I have been following the guidance found at http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+How+to+connect+with+CAPI for the AVM card (actually I

-- Serious issues with current CVS?
I had a compile problem with the CVS I downloaded on 21 June. I have a Debian box with 2.4.18 kernel (version needed for support of Conexant ADSL). There is a difficulty with Zaptel build regarding HDLC detection. It tries to build it in and then results in unresolved kernel symbols and fails to load. I have had to comment out the entire HDLC defines in zconfig.h to get a driver to install at
