Check your screen config (~/.screenrc, /etc/screenrc), in
particular the ?shell? command.
For reference, mine has:
shell "-${SHELL}"
And the environment variable $SHELL is /bin/mksh (so a full
pathname, not just

Being gen)eric, our products are less expensive than the brand name
equivalants. The reason that you can bvy our products for less is that we
dont pay for branding, ma~rketing, advertising, or a costly sales force. We
pass along those cost saviings directly

screen not sourcing .bashrc
Hi everyone,
I use the "screen" command from time to time and what i would still
have to figure out how to do is for it to be able to source .bashrc
and read my user-defined configuration (aliases for example).
I have already added the "source /root/.bashrc" line on
/root/.screenrc but it doesn't seem to be working.
Would anyone know how this should work?
Thanks,
Matt

Screen
Hey
I like to use Ctrl+A and Ctrl+E a lot to navigate my insane big bash one
liners but this is incompatible with Screen which has a binding to Ctrl-A.
Is it possible to move the screen binding so I can have the best of both
worlds?

Help with some screen command
Hi,
I want to connect to my server, run screen as root and then let
another person log in a root also and let him run screen and attach to
mine so he can "see" what im doing on the server. I haven't played
with screen a lot but it seems a nice feature to teach him how to
configure certain things.
Sorry for the newbie question.
thanks,

Uninstalling the puppet source?
I''m installing puppet from git per instructions in another thread.
The instructions given at
http://docs.puppetlabs.com/guides/installation.html for installing
puppet from source lead to it dumping things all over my Ruby, which
I really wasn''t expecting and doesn''t work well with our
environment.
(1) How do I uninstall it?
(2) How do I turn the git source into a gem?

Pcloud and Rclone: NUL added to beginning of each file
Hello,
I'm experiencing a really strange behaviour with Samba that I can't easily
debug.
I have a pCloud account mounted using rCloud (Fuse file system) with the
following command:
rclone mount --allow-other --umask 0007 pcloud:/ /media/alerinaldi/pcloud
The mounted directory is then shared with Samba in read/write.
It all seemed to work like a charm, except for a really strange
