Hi, I know that IBM SDD(Subsystem Device Driver) for linux are all for kernel version 2.6.9 or lower - for RHEL4 or less, SLES9 or less I installed IBMsdd rpm, but failed to command "sdd start". I use XenExpress version (xen-3.0.4 version) with 2.6.16 kernel. My questions are 1. Is there anyone who use IBM SDD module with the dom0''s 2.6.16 kernel on Xen-3.0.4 ???? if then,

dtrace causing sigtrap?
Just to let people know what my big picture is, I''m trying to write a script that will let me run a program, and name a progeny of that program that I want to debug. My script should find the first occurrence of that progeny, and run it until it finishes initializing the runtime linker, but stop it before it runs any shared library startup routines. (Failing that, I''d be okay

monthly median in a daily dataset
Hello, I have a multi-year dataset (see below) with date, a data value and a flag for the data value. I want to find the monthly median for each month in this dataset and then plot it. If anyone has suggestions they would be greatly apperciated. It should be noted that there are some dates with no values and they should be removed. Thanks Emily > print ( str(data$flow$daily) )

[LLVMdev] ARM NEON VMUL.f32 issue
Hi folks, I just "fixed" a bug on ARM LNT regarding lowering of a VMUL.f32 as NEON and not VFP. The former is not IEEE 754 compliant, while the latter is, and that was failing TSVC. The question is: * is this a problem with the test, that shouldn't be expecting values below FLT_MIN, or * is it a bug in the lowering, that should only be lowering to NEON's VMUL when unsafe-math

Re: Why Does Ruby on Debian Blow?
It will install the latest version available to you, depending on your choice of debian repositories. Use synaptic, or search your apt-cache to find the name of the latest version and install a newer version. I think stable has 1.8.2 currently. If you need to add new repositories, you can. then apt-get update, and search for the 1.8.4 version of Ruby. Debian always prefers stability of package

[LLVMdev] ARM NEON VMUL.f32 issue
Hi Renato, You're right. Strictly speaking, using NEON for scalar floating point isn't completely safe for exactly this reason (also NaNs, IIRC). We generally do it anyway because on common cores (cortex-a8) VFP is pretty terrible and the NEON approximation is correct for the vast majority of use-cases that people care about. Yes, that's cutting some corners. Would you mind making

Hi Ashish, thank you for your answer. Do you need complete client log file only or something else in particular? Unfortunately, I never used ?bt? command. Could you please provide me an usage example string? I will provide all logs you need. Passing _session_id with multipart forms
The Macromedia Flash 8 FileReference.upload() function uploads files by sending a multipart POST request to the server. Unfortunately, there is a bug that prevents Firefox cookies from being sent along with the request, so a different Session is created. I''m having my Flash code use ExternalInterface to call a Javascript function on the page with the Flash movie. The JS function
