RSpec stories introduction
I have played a bit with RSpec specs and now want to check out stories. I note that there is no generator for rspec stories pre se (unless I managed to miss all references to one ) and that the only directory relating to stories added by installing rspec is ./stories itself. The documentation at rspec.info seems to presume a great deal of prior knowledge. What I am looking for is a guided tour

Reusing story snippets
I find myself doing this: Scenario "logged in user visiting the home page" do Given "A logged in user" do a_logged_in_user end When "..." Then "..." end The a_logged_in_user method is a helper method in helper.rb which sets up the state so that the user can browse the website. Later in the story of course, I can just do ''Given

[PATCH] drm/nouveau: fix TTM_PL_TT memtype on pre-nv50
Commit a55409066 ("drm/nv50-: map TTM_PL_SYSTEM through a BAR for CPU access") made it possible to work with tiled memory. However mem->mm_node is not a nouveau_mem for AGP-using pre-NV50 cards, but a drm_mm_node, as created by the ttm_bo_manager_func. As such, extend the untiled check to explicitly include all pre-nv50 cards. Reported-by: Ronald <ronald645 at gmail.com>

Sparse matrix methods
Does anyone know of contributions to R for solving sparse linear systems? In particular for spatial stats I am interested in solving large positive definite symmetric systems. IMAP "freezing" on OSX
Hi, I've got a problem with dovecot on an Intel Mac OSX box. Basically, I was running an older verion (0.8.?, I think), and everything was fine. Then, when I upgraded to 1.0.0 via MacPorts, I found that periodically the system gets into a state where it simply stops dealing with IMAP requests. This tends to manifest itself as Thunderbird simply stalling, not fetching any new

Odd error handling in ActionView#compile_template causes WSOD
If a view file cannot be compiled (eg it has a block with a missing ''end'' statement), I''m experiencing WSODs - the browser reports a lost network connection, rather than the helpful compilation error that we used to have. When the compilation fails, ActionView#compile_template raises this error : TemplateError.new(find_base_path_for(file_name || template), file_name ||

[PATCH] drm/nouveau/bar/gk20a: Avoid bar teardown during init
Commit bbb163e18960 ("drm/nouveau/bar: implement bar1 teardown") introduced add a teardown helper function for BAR1. During initialisation of the Nouveau, initially all the teardown helpers are called once, before calling their init counterparts. For gk20a, after the BAR1 teardown function is called, the device is hanging during the initialisation of the FB sub-device. At this point it

UTF-8 String.strip bug (and several over methods)
Hello, with Rails 3.0.3 "Café Noir ".strip => "Café noir" but "Café ".strip => "Caf\303\251" In fact, strip() doesn''t works if the last printable character is accentuated. Surprisingly " écologie".strip works fine. I''ve tried to dig deeper in active_support multibyte source code but didn''t found any solution.

Looking for Q.Sig success story
Hi all, Did anyone had success with Q.Sig on * 1.2, especially with Alcatel 4400 (which seems to only support Q.Sig) ? I am thinking about interconnecting 15 sites together with asterisk (probably using IAX or SIP). I have a very heterogeneous environement using both PRI and BRI, but my pilot will start with the Alcatel at the central site. Any help/example is most welcome. BR, - Patrick -

Cisco SIP license?
In order to use a cisco phone and the SIP image, do you need a license, or just the firmware. Is this like saying that you can get music, all you need is something like kazza? Or if you get the phone and the image are you legit? What does it take to get the lic?
