Did you mean ...? with act_as_ferret
Hello, does anybody know how to implement a "Did you mean ...?" like Google with act_as_ferret? I think this is a possible way: 1. Generate a keyword-list (this is my difficulty. I don''t know how to build such a list from the index) with no stop-words from the first index. e. g. (car, ship, plant, house) 2. Build a second index from this word-list where we store the word in

Getting non-stemmed terms from IndexReader
I need to get a set of terms being indexed using Ferret. I used IndexReader.terms and it returns a list of TermEnum nicely. The only problem is that my analyzer includes a stemming filter. So now, the terms I''m getting back are all stemmed. Is there anyway to get the original unstemmed terms back from the index somehow? Thanks. -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

:store => :yes doesn''t work in some cases
I''m not really sure if this is a bug, but it makes my search results look a bit strange. I have an acts_as_ferret declaration that looks like: acts_as_ferret :store_class_name => true, :remote => true, :fields => { :ferret_name => { :store => :yes, :boost => 2 }, :ferret_content => { :store => :yes } } I store both fields so that I

Parallel indexing doesn''t work?
Hi, I''m trying to get parallelized ferret indexing working for my AAF indices, based on the example in the O''Reilly Ferret shortcut. However, the resulting indices after merging seem to have no actual documents. I went and made minimal changes to the example in the Ferret shortcut pdf, and indeed can''t get that to work either. I''d appreciate any help

[LLVMdev] including the host triple in "include/llvm/Config/config.h"
I was wondering if would be possible to get the host's triple captured as a string in include/llvm/Config/config.h. Autoconf currently generates this file, and capturing the host triple would be extremely useful for use in the new C frontend. I am not an autoconf expert. Does anyone have any pointers on how this could be added to the LLVM configuration scripts? Thanks. Ted

Call deflection on ISDN PRI in Sweden
Hello List! We're having trouble making call deflection on ISDN PRI. We would like to transfer a call to an external extension but keeping the callerid of the caller so it can be presented to the receiver of the transferred call. At the time we're using Zaptel 1.4.5.1, Asterisk 1.4.11 and Digium hardware TE420B. We've ordered the service (CD) from the phone company. The

LV: predication
Hi Simon, Thanks for reposting the example, and looking at it more carefully, I think it is very similar to my first proposal. This was met with some resistance here because it dumps loop information in the vector preheader. Doing it this early, we want to emit this in the vectoriser, puts a restriction on (future) optimisations that transform vector loops to honour/update/support this intrinsic

Invitation accepted, I am happy to help out with reviews, like I did with the previous VP patches. And of course agreed that things should be well defined, and that we shouldn't paint ourselves in a corner, but I don't think that this is the case. And it's not that I am in a rush, but I don't think this change needs to be predicated on a big change landing first like the LV

Incomplete x-axis in barplots
Hi everyone, This is a graphics question, concerning presentation rather than actually producing figures. After much fiddling I've managed to create bar plots showing error bars. I've put in an x-axis, which goes along all the bars, but doesn't appear between the y-axis and the first bar. I've searched all the resources I have access to but can't find anything addressing this
