wave/OSS and JumpStart Kindergarten...
Warning: WINE Newbie Alert. Proceed with caution.... Background: I don't want to fork up $$$ for a separate Windows machine for my kid so I've decided to see if I can run any of the popular brain-rot software under WINE (Is it "WINE" or "Wine" or "wine"?) on a Linux 2.4.18 kernel. My first project is a vintage 1995 version of JumpStart Kindergarten. Seeing

[Bridge] [PATCH] (4/4) bridge forwarding table RCU

[Bridge] MTU Question
I have a bridge that has gigabit interfaces. The machine in question has the fun job of being a Bridge, Firewall and SMB server. Both of the Gigabit interfaces are connected to workstations directly via Xover cable (well MDI-X to be exact). My question is, if I enable jumbo frames on the gigabit interfaces will that make any difference in overall transfer rate of the bridge? I was thinking it

denpro_0.8.1
Dear R users, Version denpro_0.8.1 of denpro package is available. Denpro is a package for visualization of multivariate functions, sets, and data. It is specialized for visualizing multivariate density functions and density estimates. A basic tool is a level set tree, which makes a recursive approximation of a multivariate function. With the help of level set trees one may define shape

ebtables locking issue
Hi there, I am new to ebtables code and looking for some help related to locking and atomicity. I am using Xen 3.0.4 in bridge mode and interested in looking into the packets intercepted by dom0 ebtables code, extract some information, pass this information to userspace, wait for userspace response and then pass the result back to ebtable code. Everything seemed to be working fine until i

[PATCH -next 000/491] treewide: use fallthrough;
There is a new fallthrough pseudo-keyword macro that can be used to replace the various /* fallthrough */ style comments that are used to indicate a case label code block is intended to fallthrough to the next case label block. See commit 294f69e662d1 ("compiler_attributes.h: Add 'fallthrough' pseudo keyword for switch/case use") These patches are intended to allow clang to

Please note that Windows 9x clients are not true members of a domain for reasons outlined in this article. Therefore the protocol for support Windows 9x style domain logons is completely different from NT4 domain logons and has been officially supported for some time. Did you read this document? Let me know what needs to be updated and i will take care of it. Cheers, jerry
