1.4.23 + Realtime Queues/Agents NOT via SIP
I'm working on a project that involves Queues with Agents that are at home
with a PSTN phone number, NOT connected via SIP phones.
In the queues.conf it clearly states that only the SIP driver supports "In
Use" detection of making members of a Queue available or unavailable.
I've not yet figured out the best way to handle this. Currently I've got a
macro that is executed

5.3 on an EeePC??
I have an ASUS EeePC 701 (with 2GB of RAM and an 8 GB card), on
which I've installed CentOS on the hard-drive-plus-card. But it can't
even use my eth0.
Some one on a local LUG, where I had mentioned that other OSs did fine
with all the same exact hardware, suggested that CentOS, being designed
for stability rather than the bleeding edge, likely lacks drivers; so I

Can you be more specific? They are identical and the same tarball. I just
downloaded both from each place and confirmed that, and confirmed they both
extract fine.

Well, what I mean is:
After calling aio_notify_read, if aio_get_direction returns

some kind of timeout problem in pbx_spool.c
I am using outgoing call files. I typically see the "ooh something
changed / timeout" on a regular bases every second to be exact.
Then it stops until some other call event happens.
So I "mv" my call file to the outgoing spool directory, I am listening
to that message, another call file is "mv"'ed into the directory
and something happens to the timeout that its

Asterisk Manager API Action Originate
Has anyone else had issues with Originate returning the wrong error code?
According to the docs, the following errors are supposed to be returned:
0 = no such extension or number
1 = no answer
4 = answered
8 = congested or not available
Now in Asterisk 1.4.23 I get some error code 5's but since they're so few I
tend not to worry. But what is concerning is the number of Error 0's I

monitoring a channel and redirect to conf
I am monitoring a channel... I then redirect that channel to a conf with
lq as options.
When playing back the gsm file I have all recording upto the point of

the conference.
How do I CONTINUE to record and not loose anything after redirecting to
the conference?
After redirecting I have dead air. asterisk 1.4.23.

dtmf payload 100
Hello,
I encountered the dtmf problem between my asterisk box (1.4.23) and
suppliers gateway (unknown vendor). I have dtmf mode set to rfc2833 and it
alway worked till supplier has changed something. Now I receive from him
dtmf payload 100. With the second supplier which sends dtmf with payload
type 101 everything works.
in cli I get this message as dtmf is entered

meetme
I know I should probably post this to the Trixbox forums, but am hoping
someone might have a quick answer here for me. Client with Trixbox 2.6.2
with a recompiled asterisk 1.4.23 and various patches for RPID. A meetme
conference with several people was in progress when the UPS died and the
machine suddenly lost power. It is back up now, of course, but when you

Compiling to use IMAP: how?
Hey, all. I was going through a "make configure" on my Asterisk 1.4.23
Ubuntu box, and noticed something I'd forgotten: Asterisk now supports
IMAP_STORAGE. However, when I highlight it, it tells me that there's an
unmet dependency, presumably for imap_tk. I've "apt-get installed"
everything I can think of that might be pertinent after some Googling

app directory error: libc-client undefined symbol
Installing 1.4.23-rc2, I actually looked at the startup and saw this
warning:
WARNING[10730]: loader.c:359 load_dynamic_module: Error loading module
'app_directory.so': /usr/lib/libc-client.so.2007: undefined symbol: mm_dlog
I'm running Fedora Core 9, with libc-client 2007d. googling didn't help,
so what's the problem? Do I need a more recent (different) libc-client?
