[PATCH virtio 0/4] pds_vdpa: mac, reset, and irq updates
v2 for internal review - heavily reworked NET_F_MAC patch, matches recent PR-68875 - reordered to put "clean and reset vqs" before "alloc-irq" to make them slightly simpler patches - other minor cleanups for simpler patches These are some fixes for device providing a MAC address, for allocating irq resources later to support vhost use, and for properly cleaning vq info

[PATCH v5 virtio 04/11] pds_vdpa: move enum from common to adminq header
The pds_core_logical_qtype enum and IFNAMSIZ are not needed in the common PDS header, only needed when working with the adminq, so move them to the adminq header. Note: This patch might conflict with pds_vfio patches that are in review, depending on which patchset gets pulled first. dahdi_tool reports that dahdi_dummy is UNCONFIGURED
Usually I used real Digium cards in asterisk systems, so I'm running into this for the first time. dahdi_tool reports that dahdi_dummy is in state UNCONFIGURED. This isn't super surprising, as it seems like the configuration files for DAHDI are really intended only for configuring real physical cards. But that begs the question: Is there any legal DAHDI configuration for dahdi_dummy such

How do I remotely force an *unconfigured* Digium DPMA

Did you disable enable_check_sync in the xml config? By default this option is enabled and phones should restart with check-sync SIP NOTIFY

Use DPMA to enumerate unconfigured Digium phones in LAN
Is there a way to use DPMA to enumerate the Digium phones that are plugged in and visible in the local network, but not (yet) configured through the DPMA configuration files in Asterisk. I would like to write a frontend that lists the DPMA capable phones, presents a GUI to specify the various options, then write the configuration files as required and make the phones read these settings. Ideally

[Bug 2302] with DH-GEX, ssh (and sshd) should not fall back to unconfigured DH groups or at least document this behaviour and use a stronger group

Where did this group come from? IMO it would be best to use one of the standard groups if we're picking another fixed one - logjam attacks aren't

WERR_DS_DRA_MISSING_PARENT error when joining new DC
When trying to join a new DC to an existing Samba4 domain, I am getting this WERR_DS_DRA_MISSING_PARENT error. Does any have any suggestions on how to fix it? My original 6 dc's are running the last free Sernet (4.2.14) on CentOS6 and the error occurs if I use Sernet 4.2.14 or 4.7.5-Debian. I finally have time to upgrade and something is broke. Thanks, Steve # samba-tool domain join

How do I remotely force an *unconfigured* Digium DPMA phone to re-query the network for the DPMA server?
Consider the following scenario: 1) One or more Digium DPMA phones are plugged into the network. I know their IP addresses and MACs. 2) The Asterisk I want to use as the telephony server starts without the DPMA module. Therefore there are no DPMA sessions between the phones and the server. 3) I install DPMA on the server, and write its configuration file for the phones. I will tie each phone to

BRIstuff/QuadBRI problem: Ring requested on unconfigured channel 255/255 span 5
Hi all, I'm running a stable Asterisk on a HP DL380G2 1.4Ghz 0,5GB RAM equipped with 1x TE410P and 2xJunghanns QuadBRI running in NT-mode. Connected to the BRI-Ports are 12 Fax-Modems (Elsa MicroLink ISDN/TL V.34) which are only operating in dial out analog mode to deliver fax messages. After a while of running fine (50-200 dial out connections) on some S0 spans the following message occurs

Weird PRI error on an QUAD E1 span: Ring requested on unconfigured channel 255/255
After working fine for a week or so my new Quad E1 asterisk 1.8 system has started rejecting outbound calls from the Nortel BMC 450 it is connected to. The cli fills up with these: sig_pri.c: Ring requested on unconfigured channel 255/255 span 3 Is this likely to be a 1) config error 2) cable issue (I made them) 3) hardware problem with the Digium card 4) software (lib pri) Any clues?
