Netatalk and Samba???
Hi all, Looking for a "best practices" way to share out to both Mac and PC easily. I know Windoze enables the same sharepoint for both the mac and pc shares and there don't seem to be any real "problems" by doing that. However I work in an environment which forces us to utilize Win9x through XP as well as OS 9 through 10.x on the mac side. I need a user friendly way to

Large disk support
I have a 3.5 TB RAID 5 Array through a 3ware 9590SE 8 port card, and am running into what seems like quite a lot of problems trying to get the system installed correctly. The system is a running dual Opterons with 2 GB of RAM, and I'm attempting to install through the x86_64 ServerCD. First, grub refuses to install on the disk, as it's too large. I can get around this though by

PERL module woes
Hi, I'm using CentOS 4.3 on all my PC's, and I'm very happy with it. Everything *just* works. I want to give DVD::RIP 0.97.10 a try. I enabled rpmforge and kbs repos, but there's only 0.52.2 available, which has an annoying bug in it. So I installed the main dependency, transcode, via yum. Then I downloaded the (PERL) sources of DVD::RIP 0.97.10, ran configure (e. g. perl

mod_perl and httpd2
I've got httpd and mod_perl installed, but I seem to have an application that requires part of mod_perl that doesn't seem to be properly installed into perl, notably, the 'Apache' portion. To 'fix' this, cpan would like to install either mod_perl-1.29, or alternatively to install mod_perl-2.0.2. 1.29 doesn't seem smart, and 2.0.2 absolutely will not install over the
