PHP API
Hi Michal Are there plans to implement snapshot create_as version of the following function where XML could be passed? https://github.com/libvirt/libvirt-php/blob/afe404b2cf4bb46cdd39c6ea4df1c7c65b2d0b1b/src/libvirt-snapshot.c#L105 Regards Simon. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Re: How can I rebase network disk?
Thanks for your reply. The nova project uses the virDomainBlockRebase API to finish the rebase operation from the old disk to the new disk not using the virDomainBlockCopy API. I am confused of the difference of virDomainBlockRebase and virDomainBlockCopy. [PATCH v4 2/7] common: Bundle the libvirt-ocaml library for use by virt-v2v
Add a copy of the libvirt-ocaml library, currently available at: https://libvirt.org/git/?p=libvirt-ocaml.git;a=summary This is a snapshot at commit d3ed8dcf1b0a6a8a855ceecbe0bb97f21e6665e3, which has all the features we need (and that builds fine). It is expected to stay synchronized with upstream, until there is a new upstream release, and it will be widespread enough. --- .gitignore

Regarding Migration Statistics
Greetings, I am writing a code using libvirt API to migrate VM between two physical hosts *(QEMU/KVM) , *say some *n *number of times. *1)* I am using right now* virDomainPtr virDomainMigrate (.......) *and to calculate the total migration time I am using something like this: *clock_gettime(CLOCK_MONOTONIC_RAW,&begin); * *migrate*(domainToMigrate,nodeToMigrate);

Thread-safety issues with vbox driver ?
Hi, I'm experiencing weird things with the vbox driver when using multiple threads. Following is the snippet of code I experience problems with /*****************************************************/ #include <stdlib.h> #include <stdio.h> #include <pthread.h> #include <libvirt/libvirt.h> void *create_and_destroy(void *arg) { virDomainPtr dom = (virDomainPtr)arg;

blockcopy for libvirt and version compatibility
I'm currently running: virsh --version 1.0.2 libvirtd --version libvirtd (libvirt) 1.0.2 I have a couple questions. 1. Can I upgrade my libvirt.so version to use with an older libvirtd? In other words, does the versions of libvirt and libvirtd need to be in lock step? 2. I'm able to use virsh blockcopy, but I want to do it programmatically via C. I looked through the API and was not
