New office hardware set up question.
Pardon the newb question and all, but this is my first real experience with phone systems, let alone VoIP and Asterisk. I'm building an office space for a former employer and we are considering Asterisk as the phone system there. But, I've never set up an Asterisk system before so I've got a couple of questions about the required hardware. The network architecture is pretty

Is there a way to efficiently read large datasets directly into a matrix byrow? I know data.frame, but for large datasets it doesn't efficiently work, also if I increase the cons memory. R --nsize 1000k --vsize 90M ... > x<-read.table("pendler.luft.txt") Error: cons memory (1000000 cells) exhausted See "help(Memory)" on how to increase the number of cons

Grouping columns

The script is the following:* > #R-Skript: Anzahl xyz > > #Quelldatei einlesen > b<-read.csv2("Z:/int/xyz.csv", header=TRUE) > > #Teilmengen f?r die Einzeljahre generieren >

Dovecot truncating messages and/or attachments
Hello, I am having problems with Dovecot not sending clients emails bigger then 8-12k (it varies) or attachments bigger then 8-12k. I am also getting 'Corrupted transaction log file' errors ' unexpected end of file while reading header' I have deleted the dovecot.index.log, dovecot.index.cache, and dovecot.index several dozen times. I started off using Centos 5, with their package

AstTapi - Crashes w/ Windows 2000 - Urgent Help needed - May need to hire a developer
We're encountering a problem with AstTAPI crashing on Windows 2000 Workstations. The program we're using is called Amicus Attorney, it uses a standard TAPI interface to be able to dial our clients, but on the 2 Windows 2000 workstations we've tried it on it has crashed, no errors or anything. When we select the Asterisk TAPI driver, the whole windows just closes/crashes w/ no apparent

AstTapi - Crashes w/ Windows 2000 - UrgentHelpneeded - May need to hire a developer
I have it running on my Windows 2000 mahcine using STI products and don't have much of a problem. I would guess that it might be something on the workstations instead of the AstTAPI. Also, might be a little faster, easier, cheaper to just upgrade your existing workstations? Just a thought. Feel free to contact me off list if you would like. Thanks, Dustin -----Original Message-----

Thanks for providing the patch! I got around to testing it this morning and it appears it fixes compilation, but produces a non-working system. I know that's kinda vague and I'll have more details soon, including sample binaries. I at least wanted to give a status update so you didn't think you were being ignored. Still trying to make my Asterisk PBK talk to our Nortel Phone Switch (C15k). Nortel did an upgrade which changed a bunch of things today, so I thought I'd give it another shot. It looks like I'm much closer this time, but still no go. Can't do calling in either direction. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks! Shawn [nortel] host=10.0.0.10 insecure=very type=peer qualify=no

idmap limit?
Hi, yes, there are some things. But I have not found a nice complete documentation. One main point is the domain name as prefix of the username of the parent domain, e.g. "DOM\user1", you have to use. I was not able to get rid of it, as the client is member of the subdomain which is the default. So you can't use the "default domain" option in smb.conf. The backslash
