Controlling Different Loads using NUT
Hello, I was setting up a TrippLite UPS more specifically the SMART1000RMXL2U model and the way I have it set up is I have a network switch plugged into one load and the PC plugged into another load on this UPS model. Is there any way I can configure the UPS using NUT to have the load containing the PC to delay its boot up by 10 minutes for example to allow the other load to turn on before it?

Controlling which loads come on after a power outage using NUT
Hi, I have a SMART1000RMXL2U TrippLite and have issues with the power coming back on during the shutdown as one of the loads are turning on too quickly causing a configuration switch on the other load to not boot on in time. The way I have it set up is I have a network switch plugged into one load and the PC plugged into another load on this UPS model. Is there any way I can configure the UPS

AVRX750/500 issues
Thanks for chiming in @David Zomaya. Tripp Lite replaced my AVRX550U once thinking that the powering back on was a defective unit, but the replacement does the same thing. The SN on the first one is 2935AVHOM87BB00152. NUT has my model listed as protocol 2010, so that needs to be corrected to 2012, but I'm not sure if anyone is doing active development on it right now. I also have a

NUT support for the new Tripp Lite AVR700U (USB 3024) under OpenWrt?
I think 3024 was added after NUT 2.7.4 release. NUT support for the new Tripp Lite AVR700U (USB 3024) under OpenWrt?
That It may be right (I don't know), however, where could we confirm whether 3024 is already supported for 2.8.0 or newer? And let's suppose it is. Because current OpenWrt releases are built arround 2.7.4-27, what could I try to backport that (driver mod) to 2.7.4-27? ________________________________ De: Jim Klimov <jimklimov+nut at gmail.com> Enviado: s?bado, 6 de mayo de 2023 4:21

AVRX750/500 issues
I wouldn't be surprised if they both use the same driver. I think they are essentially the same model, but with one having a slightly larger battery. My issue is primarily with the UPS turning back on after having shut off like it should. @Scott Colby if you take a look at the config files I posted in the github issue I created, perhaps that will give you some hints on your issue. Maybe

Install problems (group permissions) with nut 2.7.2
Sorry for the bad formatting of the previous message...I tried to use plus signs as bullet points, and that caused a problem somehow. Ok...I discovered that if I do the autoreconf after the first failed make (and the autoreconf still gives that error message), and then do make again...it builds. Conclusions: 1) Autoreconf *must* be run, and not ./configure? I had thought that putting in my *.c

Tripplite UPS (SU10KRT3/1X) through snmp-ups (nut 2.6.5)
Thanks, now I started getting messages from the list. As you advised, I renamed the mib file NETCARD.mib to Tripplite and ran command ./gen-snmp-subdriver.sh -H 10.200.254.39 -c public -n Tripplite Here is what it says: snmp_build: unknown failuresnmpget: Error building ASN.1 representation (Can't build OID for variable) COUNT = 0 / 0 Creating tripplite-mib.h Creating tripplite-mib.c Done.

NUT support for the new Tripp Lite AVR700U (USB 3024) under OpenWrt?
I'm mostly not online for a few more days, so can't check directly. The general answers to the two questions would be: 1) checking if it is there: * revise if it is mentioned in the NEWS file (in sources - release tarball or on github); * check issues on github; * search/grep for 3024 in current/release-tagged codebase... 2) getting it to your system: versioning looks debianish, some

NUT support for the new Tripp Lite AVR700U (USB 3024) under OpenWrt?
Dears, I'm trying to connect this new version of the AVR700U to nut - 2.7.4-27 running over OpenWrt 22.03.5, installed from the stable release repositories, for an ath79 USB2.0 gigabit WiFi router. According to the supported list, I thought this UPS was supposed to use the USB 2010 protocol, but I guess that was an old version because now uses the 3024 protocol (perhaps it would be good to

NUT support for the new Tripp Lite AVR700U (USB 3024) under OpenWrt?
For clarity, `upsd` is the networked data server for local or remote clients like `upsmon` or `upsc`. It talks to locally running NUT driver(s) which talk to actual devices with their media and protocols. It is the driver (like `usbhid-ups`) that would be annoyed by hardware reconnections. That said, I think there were some fixes to reconnection behavior, which might have landed even after 2.8.0

[EXTERNAL] nut-scanner, SNMPv3, APC UPS not chatting
Just a hunch about your snmpwalk, what happens if you format like this? snmpwalk -l authpriv -v 3 -u user -a MD5 -x DES -A authpassphrase -X privpassphrase {host address} so snmpwalk -l authpriv -v 3 -u nut -a MD5 -x DES -A NutScan at Password43LongerWord -X NutScan at Password43LongerWord apcups Thank you, David Zomaya Tripp Lite ________________________________ From: Nut-upsuser

NUT support for the new Tripp Lite AVR700U (USB 3024) under OpenWrt?
Thanks for your support, Jim. I found a workaround: logread showed some access-denied errors, and because I don't know exactly what it may be (except the lack of udev rules perhaps), I ran upsd as root and it connected with the UPS. Therefore I wonder whether a more elegant solution could be used for this part? But there are several things about the readings with the 2.7.4 usbhid-ups driver

Tripplite SNMP Webcard and NUT
I've tried looking for documentation on configuring NUT for Ubuntu 12.04 over SNMP with a Tripplite UPS, but there isn't a lot of SNMP configurations tutorials out there from what I've seen. I haven't been able to get automatic shutdown to work. The driver I've been using is usbhid-ups which is generic for Tripplite, but I've reviewed several other UPS driver names and some

[POSSIBLE FRAUD] Re: [EXTERNAL] Re: Help with Tripp Lite Internet600U
Sorry, neglected to mention: You'll need to either reload the udev rules or reboot to make the new rule "active".
