Quite a lot of changes. Please test out before the final v2.2.25 release, which I'm planning for tomorrow. Especially the new lib-dcrypt might have compiling problems with some OpenSSL versions.

-n vs batch_mode vs batch_flag
How is -n supposed to work? When you say ssh -n, it sets stdin_null_flag
but not batch mode. When the client is choosing authmethods, there is a
batch_flag that is tested to see (presumably) if we are in batch mode or
perhaps if -n has been given. But nothing sets it. It looks like it's
supposed to point to options.batch_mode, but it's never even initialized!
Even if it did point to

Dovecot "Mailbox sharing between users".
Hi
I have appended the important bits of my server configuration to the end
of this email
I am trying to get "Mailbox sharing between users" to work.
For starters it is very hard to follow the doc only
https://doc.dovecot.org/configuration_manual/shared_mailboxes/shared_mailboxes/
without an actual example. I tried to use this (sorry in German)

Disabling auth fallback to PAM
Hi folks,
According to the wiki,? it's considered a feature of Dovecot and its
ability to support multiple authentication sources that "if the
password doesn't match in the first database, it checks the next
one".

I think it's great that Dovecot allows auth sources to be stacked
like this, but I am not sold on the

Segfault on LIST Command
Dear all,
I experience SegFaults in the imap binary on a LIST "" "" command,
as sent by Claws mail. Using LIST "" "INBOX" or similar is fine.
Here is an example telnet session

Users with multiple password
Hi!
~ dovecot --version
2.2.22 (fe789d2)
I am wondering if there is a way to set up virtual users with multiple
valid passwords. We want to be able to provide users with
device/app-specific passwords for their email accounts, as well as being
able to create temporary "access tokens" for technical support when
required.
I quickly found out that passdb using passwd-file or an

PDF and Charts???
I''m facing a problen while developing an app in rails...
How can I generate PDF files and Charts....
I think that maybe a solution would be to have a Tomat running and leave the
task of generate PDF and create dinamyc charts to
Java with Jasper and JFreechart.... but.. I''m not sure how to acomplish
this.
Any ideas on how to use rails and java in the same app.????

The socket connection to libvirtd / other daemons was abruptly
closed. Essentially you can almost always ignore this error
message as being mostly harmless.

smb2 max credits did not work as expected
Hi, all,
I set smb2 max credits = 70 in smb.conf, but I find more than 200
read requests
were sent to server in 3 seconds, and has no response during this
period. Each read request's
read len is 2MB, and they share the same "credit charge: 32".
I want to restrict the read request number outstanding at the same
time, i.e. client only send read request max to {max credits} before

prevent filter excluded files from being deleted
I am not 100% sure I am interpreting this correctly but I think you are
complaining that the file was being deleted in the first command? If
so, instead of -F try --include='*/' --exclude='*'. Otherwise, maybe
you want a second -F?
