doveadm sending invalid AUTHENTICATE to uw-imap
I'm migrating a legacy uw-imap system to Dovecot, on a Rocky (RHEL) 8
server running Dovecot 2.3.16-3 from their repos. I am using a master user
to import all users for an imaps connection from the old server to the
new. On a trial run however, it worked for about half the users. Half are
giving an error of the form:
dsync(user): Error: imapc(host:993):

Instead I'm just seing

Access to internal UPS logs?
Do any known UPS's keep internal logs of events? I am currently using a
slightly modified version if usbhid-ups to talk to a HP T/R2200 G2,
which is internally a TrippLite UPS.
The UPS is randomly turning off its output power, at intervals of once
every week or two, even though during this failure it reports that input
and output voltages are still around 248V (240V is nominal). The only

exclude a vector value from another vector
Dear All,
I am trying to build a program which will take repeated samples (w/o
replacement) from a population of values. The interesting catch is that I
would like the sample values to be removed from the population, after each
sample is taken.
For example:
pop<-c(1,5,14,7,9,12,18,19,65,54)
sample(pop, 2) = lets say, (5,54)

converting old uucp buffer files to maildir
Hi *,
besides my dovecot maildir structure, that has been migrated from an
Exchange server, I have an even older mail structure in an ancient uucp
style. The program named CrossPoint I used for this isn't wideley known,
but it used so called mpuffer files in a plain text format.
It is the program I still use to write for example this mail.
I wonder if there already exists a program or script

Hello Aki,
before updating to mailman3 consider an simpler update to latest mailman2.
you're using 2.1.15, current mailman2 is 2.1.29
Your missing an /significant amount/ of DMARC fixes!

Subject tag is gone
I've actually been thinking about it almost since the beginning. It's just been annoying waste of space on my screen. And more importantly nowadays it's also breaking DKIM/DMARC signatures. So if somebody still uses Subject-based filtering it's about time to switch to List-ID header based filtering now.
Another thing I'm wondering about is if I should allow text/html parts,

DTrace IP provider, step 1
G''Day All,
I''m putting together a PSARC case to begin integration of the DTrace network
providers. I''ve drawn up a rough plan which splits this project into over a
dozen smaller steps, as documented on the network provider page:

Two questions. First one is I guess just a newbie configuration question. My existing dovecot.conf ends with
!include conf.d/*.conf
!include_try local.conf
I didn?t have a local.conf, so I decided that would be
