CentOS wiki/web changes
Hi,
A few things I would like to see fixed in the short term:
+ Simplifying the frontpage. I gave a rationale on my blog why I think
the frontpage should be more simple an structured. You can see the
proposal here:
http://wiki.centos.org/FrontPageProposal
Ralph already criticized that there is too much text and I tend to
agree. I would prefer to see an image instead and

Wiki deuglification Part I
Hey guys,
I toyed around with the Wiki today to deuglify it a little bit. I used a
theme which is a bit of a "CMS" theme for MoinMoin and played around
with the logo colors.
The theme is based on the plsavez theme, which I like as it has a very
uncluttered interface for people who aren't logged in - they only see
some important interwiki links (FrontPage, RecentChanges and so on),

Screenshot on FrontPage
Hi,
This is to notify that I have put a screenshot on the FrontPage. It is not
an exciting screenshot, just a simple default desktop with the browser
opened and pointed to the wiki itself.
I know I should have put it on the development wiki first and get
consensus, but sadly I cannot find the development wiki (thought it was
wiki-m.centos.org, but that one is not responding).
If people

wiki.centos.org logo behaviour
Im curious ?
When I click on the logo in upper left corner on wiki.centos.org then
I get to the wiki frontpage, not the www.centos.org page!?!
This is a bit redundant IMHO, I already have the "frontpage" menu, but
there is no way to navigate back to www from the wiki as I can see.
And thats the beaviour on http://bugs.centos.org/main_page.php, click
on logo gets you back to www.

Added Download page to wiki
Hi,
I have added a Download page to the wiki. Feel free to improve it (but
please do not make it more complex than it already is :-))
I would prefer to make it even more simple, but hate to have the
architecture-selection done by DirectoryIndex. Also the link behind each
architecture looks awful and may scare people away.
It would be much better to have a single link that automatically

Merging Documentation and Help pages
Hi,
Going over the wiki some more I noticed that the GettingHelp and
Documentation page contain the same type of information and could be
merged (and reduced) as well.
On the FrontPage it is called "Learn" (which I like) and
points to the Documentation page. On top it says "Help" and points to the
GettingHelp page.
I would prefer to keep the Documentation page (or rename

Request permission for editting Simplified Chinese Frontpage
My wiki username is HoLee .
Now, the simplified chinese frontpage is maintained by TimothyLee.
Because of his efforts ,the Traditional Chinese Frontpages and
Simplified Chinese Frontpages are created and maintained very well.
I know that TimothyLee is from Taiwan,so the Simplified Chinese
Frontpage is translated from Traditional Chinese Frontpage
directly.So,there are some sentences is

Frontpage 2003 Upgrade
Hi! How do I get frontpage 2003 upgrade to work? I used ies4linux to get
ie6 and copied the directory and installed frontpage 2000. When I try to
install 2003, though, it terminates before even starting! I need
frontpage 2003 for school, otherwise I wouldn't use it. Any help would
be appreciated! Thanks!

OT: Linux WYSIWYG HTML Editors
I have KomPozer installed, but after using M$ FrontPage for years,
KomPozer looks like it is going to have a learning curve and I want to
get away from FrontPage and Windows. I know Mark (MHR) uses
SeaMonkey. Wondering if there is anything else I can use on Linux that
is easier on a FrontPage user. I found this article:

[LLVMdev] Adding support to LLVM for data & code layout (needed by GHC)
Hi all,
Just wanted to report that I've found a second way to achieve
data/code layout (the first being the linker script that Eugene
mentioned).
The key is that gnu as supports a feature called subsections.
http://sourceware.org/binutils/docs-2.20/as/Sub_002dSections.html#Sub_002dSections
The way this works is that you can put stuff into a section like
'.text 2', where 2 is a
