C7 Kernel module compilation
Hey there,
I'm trying to compile a single module following this guide:
https://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/BuildingKernelModules#head-d2e4c05886f94c701e4ae74387d41d8c40c25d01
and

I tried to compile a module for novuton led controller supplied by
thirdparty and I got several error.
To check if this is the wrong procedure I tried to

CentOS6: Building a modified kernel rpm
Dear Akemi,
I'm really ashamed, in "https://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/I_need_the_Kernel_Source"
I've missed the last 5 lines following the CentOS5 section. All is now clear for
me on the process to follow to build a new kernel from source rpm and the
CONFIG_NUMA_EMU option is active.
I've set it with make menuconfig to avoid some additional mistakes in the config
file.

the Kernel Source article needs some modification
I think that the "I Need the Kernel Source" wiki page needs
rewriting/rearranging. It was originally written for CentOS-4 or
older. When CentOS-5 came out, a small section was added as an
update. As a result, the "Maybe not" part is no longer at the top of
the page. I feel that this section is important and therefore must be
placed at the beginning of the wiki page. It

RPMForge wiki page needs amendment
The Repositories wiki article says, "Priorities is much more flexible
and therefore the recommended plugin" under the 3rd party section.
However, the Repositories/RPMForge page gives instructions for the
protectbase plugin only. Shouldn't this be changed to priorities?
Either that or both should be referred to?

requesting edit/create page rights for wiki.centos.org/contribute
Hi Akemi, thank you so much for your help.
So, the case sensitivity bit me again: my actual account name is all
lower case: https://wiki.centos.org/tomastomecek (b/c that's also my
FAS account name)
I guess I can try creating an account with initials in caps or I'd
need the perms for my lower case account. Don't have a preference.
I just read my original email and realized that I

Akemi, all is good now: I have the account in caps and have access to
the Contribute tree of pages and my personal page.
Thank you very much for your help and patience! I wish everyone was so

Incorrect link in /Contribute wiki page
Thanks Yagi-san!
So I was originally wondering how to fix some issues (e.g. typo) in the
wiki, and I ended up finding this mailing list.
Should I report the issue in the mailing list, and wait for someone with
proper privileges to fix it?
Or am I allowed to edit it by myself?

Thanks, Akemi.
I still need the permissions though: "You are not allowed to edit this
page.", the same holds for my personal page.
I also cannot find precise documentation how to contribute to the wiki
itself: I can see on this ML that git diffs of changes are being
posted - should I open a PR to some repo or edit the wiki page
directly?
Thank you,
Tomas
