Logo colors added to wiki
Hi all: Since our designer friend Tuomas Kuosmanen (tigert) already did the hard work of specifying the CentOS logo colors in HEX, Pantone, and CMYK ... I did the small step of adding them to the wiki. This might be useful for you all to know it's now there: https://wiki.centos.org/ArtWork/Brand/Logo#logo-colors Also, I put a link back to the trademark guidelines for questions that are

Collaborative Wiki: Mediawiki
Dear R Developers, I create this e-mail, linked to "Collaborative Wiki for fostering Open Innovation in R", for going straight into the point: After studing multiple wikies (Confluence, xwiki, Mediawiki) for a collaborative approach to R Documentation, I finally came up that Mediawiki was the best for managing documentation for being: - 100% Open Source. - Simple, tidy, neat

wiki.centos.org logo behaviour
Im curious ? When I click on the logo in upper left corner on wiki.centos.org then I get to the wiki frontpage, not the www.centos.org page!?! This is a bit redundant IMHO, I already have the "frontpage" menu, but there is no way to navigate back to www from the wiki as I can see. And thats the beaviour on http://bugs.centos.org/main_page.php, click on logo gets you back to www.

Collaborative Wiki for fostering Open Innovation in R
Dear R Developers, I am writing in order to open a constructive debate whether if it is worth it that R Project adopts the Apache Software Foundation & Wikipedia Model for Open Documentation by using a Collaborative Wiki & Document Store (As a complement to Bugzilla and Mailing Lists), for fostering collaboration in R Development. The objective would be to promote innovation and

Pre-formatted text in the Syslinux wiki
Recently the Syslinux wiki was updated, currently using a newer version of mediawiki. "Pre-formatted" text in the Syslinux wiki is frequently being used to display commands or configuration entries. The default behavior of pre-formatted text used to be non-wrapped (among other characteristics), whereas the current default behavior is that pre-formatted text is being wrapped (just

[CentOS-devel] Authorization to use CentOS logo in GNOME Boxes
Hi all, There is now a draft permission letter working it's way through the CentOS Board. It is intended to cover permission for just the GNOME Project's use with GNOME Boxes. I am still pursuing resolving this within the guidelines, that will take more time. Best regards, - Karsten On 10/16/2018 07:10 AM, Fabiano Fid?ncio wrote: > People, > > On Wed, 2018-09-19 at 09:28

Wikipedia plots and tables?
Hello, All: What facilities exist for plots and tables of data in the standard MediaWiki software beyond the obvious standards? The standard MediaWiki tables and graphics capabilities seem to me to be rather clumsy, and I wonder if I'm missing some available extensions? The standard MediaWiki tables are described in a Wikipedia article on "Help:Table".

[CentOS-devel] Authorization to use CentOS logo in GNOME Boxes
Bumping this thread in the hopes that we can get an official opinion from someone on the board. In particular, the guidelines at https://wiki.centos.org/ArtWork/Brand/Logo seem to indicate that we're not supposed to use the logo without the wordmark, but we do that all the time, even on official swag. What's the official ruling, and who can we go to for further clarification? --Rich
