I just spent several hours on IRC and elsewhere trying to figure this out before thinking to try booting something other than 13.1. :-( Fstab entry (redacted): //HOST/share /mountpoint cifs

string interpolation - #{} vs. single vs. double quotes
Could someone point me to documentation that provides a succinct and accurate description of the difference between interpolation using #{}, single quotes, and double quotes ? I imagine there''s a set of precedence rules that govern behavior if/when they''re mixed. I''d like to get clear on this. Thanks, Bill -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was

BDS test - results unclear to me
Hello, I would like to use the BDS test from the tseries package, but there is something I don't understand in the results of the test. Let's say, I want the BDS values for an embedding dimension equal to 2 : > bds.test(c, m = 2, eps = seq(0.5 * sd(c), 2 * sd(c), length = 4),trace=FALSE); Here are the outputs: data: c Embedding dimension = 2 Epsilon for close points = 0.0097
