New Xen User
Hi Everyone,
I''ve been looking into the different hypervisors that''re available, and i''ve noticed the Xen project and the XenServer by Citrix.
Is there a difference? Or am i looking at an old website?
Because the version on xen.org is 3.5.4 and the version on citrix is 5.5.
Thanks,
Matthew Millar

static analysis tool cppcheck meets the btrfs code - four issues
Hello there,
I just ran the sourceforge tool cppcheck over the source code of the
new Linux kernel 2.6.32.4
It said
1.
[./btrfs/free-space-cache.c:600]: (style) Redundant condition. It is safe to deallocate a NULL pointer
The source code is
if (info->bitmap)
kfree(info->bitmap);
I agree with cppcheck. Suggest delete the if test.

Welcome to the "R-help" mailing list
I have a question and please help. In SPSS, we normally perform data screening to eliminate bad items before doing factor analysis, for instance, those negatively affect the reliability of the scale. do we have to do the same with R, if yes, how? thank you very much!

This results in:

XPS M1530 Draft to Complete?
Good morning all,
I have been slowly tweaking the wiki document ref my XPS M1530 and think it's at a stage where I can remove the Draft status. However, before I do this I'd like opinions just in case I have missed something. Anyone care to add anything?
On a seprate note I have been unable to get Bluetooth working under Linux so I will try and get more info as I can. At present I just

How do I link to custom libs without affecting system libs (LD_LIBRARY_PATH)
Hi, i am getting an issue with rtorrent that is related to my curl libaries.
In summary it requires a later curl libary than CentOS 5.4 uses for its system files (CentOS uses curl libs version 7.15.5, rtorrent requires 7.19.2 or greater).
To get around this I would like to download the latest curl version and compile and link to rtorrent without affecting system files.

Can only see some folders of inbox
I've had a working system for ages now with Postfix/Dovecot/Squirrelmail.
This evening the right hand pane of Squirrel Mail failed to complete with the Inbox selected but would show some of the other folders. I can also filter and access mail from the 'Invisible' inbox.
Other mailboxes on the same server are fine.
I've copied my version number below and the output of

Samba 3/4 - Franky - AD
Hello
I had exactly the same problem.
However, I downloaded and installed GIT (apt-get install git-core in Debian / Ubuntu).
I then did:
git clone git://git.samba.org/samba.git samba
cd samba
git checkout v3-5-stable
cd source3
./configure --enable-merged-build
make
make install
If you haven't already done so, you need lots of development libraries, for example

Trendline for a subset of data
Dear all,
I am using abline(lm ...) to insert a linear trendline through a portion of my data (e.g. dataset[,36:45]). However, I am finding that whilst the trendline is correctly displayed and representative of the data portion I've chosen, the line continues to run beyond this data segment and continues until it intersects the vertical axes at each side of the plot.
How do I display the

Samba4 Provisioning Segfault
Hi,
Hope this is the right place to ask about this... I did a clean install of S4 alpha10 the other day and attempted to provision it with the python script provided. This failed with a segmentation fault, however doing this with alpha8 does not fail. I've compiled this under arm5 little endian on Ubuntu 9.04 and included a backtrace below. Any ideas where I'm going wrong or is this a
