PoE VOIP phones in Australia
Hi, Are there any resellers of phones that can take power over ethernet in Australia? All I can find for sale online is the BT-10[12], which is cheap but not featureful enough, and the Snom 190, which is about right, but neither of them support PoE. I'm particularly intereseted in the Snom 220 with the keypad expansion for our receptionist. Although, could you make a PoE split-out cable

Live Migration with different hardware
Hi all, I''m brand new to Xen and this list. I''m planning on using Xen. Especialy I''m interested in the Live Migration Feature. Somewhere I read that the hardware must be identical. What does this mean? Will migration work from a P4 to a Xeon (Core2 Mircoarchitecure) ? Will migration work if they got different NIC? What are the limitations? Maybe someone does already

Wow. It's perhaps too much of a distraction, but I'm curious about the details of this. It's probably because

RFC: libtrace
Hi all, We have been thinking internally about a lightweight llvm-based ptracer. To address one question up front: the primary way in which this differs from LLDB is that it targets a more narrow use case -- there is no scripting support, no clang integration, no dynamic extensibility, no support for running jitted code in the target, and no user interface. We have several use cases internally

Binary locations
Where do you think the following binaries should be installed to? The possible locations are: - bin/ - sbin/ - libexec/dovecot/ (or lib/dovecot/ in most Linux distros) So the binaries are: 1) These probably belong to bin/ or sbin/ or both: - authtest - dovecotpw - doveadm 2) Binaries that you might want to call from mail_executable setting: - rawlog - gdbhelper 3) Index file dumping

Windows guest skipping chkdsk if using Spice display
Hi all, as per subject, when a Windows guest using a Spice display is rebooted with a planned chkdsk, the consistency check is always skipped. It seems that the Spice display issues some "phantom" keystrokes, which are then intended by Windows as the "skip chkdsk at boot" signal. I tried to use a Spice display with no additional features (ie: USB redirection), but to no

ezstream
hi everybody. I am involved in a Internet Radio Station in Bristol UK. We are using a icecast 2 server and are trying to work out what to use to upstream. Currently we are using darkice which seems to work well. However it does not support playlists. I have looked at muse-streamer but it is currently far to unstable. Therefore ices or ezstream seem to be the option. From what I can gather
