Chromium on CentOS 6
I have chromium installed on CentOS 7 and it works fine, I now need to install it on a CentOS 6 workstation. However, it is not available in EPEL as it is for C 7. From what I understand, this is because it is already available in a supplementary channel from RHEL for C 6.
Is this the recommended method for installing it on C 6?

I set up a PXE server by following the following howto (
http://www.tecmint.com/install-pxe-network-boot-server-in-centos-7/ ) is
working but I noticed him running I need the CD in one repository http

to boot an ISO by the network as I do with the CD or DVD?

Hardening Apache on CentOS 7
Hi,
Some time ago one of my public servers (running Slackware64 14.0) got
attacked and was misused to send phishing emails.
This misadventure made me more concerned about security, so I spent the
last few weeks catching up on security, reading docs about SELinux and
how to use it, etc.
I have a public sandbox server running CentOS 7, and I'm currently
experimenting quite a lot with Apache

Does that imply that I should abandon VLC or just rpmfusion?

a few simple questions about upgrading an "official" centos 7 release
again, some fairly trivial(?) questions about working with centos
7.4, given my time immersed in fedora so i want to make sure i'm not
carrying over any bad habits.
first, is there anything untoward in updating an installed version
of centos 7.4 with a simple "yum update"? i'm well aware of keeping in
mind the goal of stability with centos, so am unsure what the
philosophy is

GPO Filtering Denied
I followed Part 1, Part 3, and Part 4 at this url
https://www.tecmint.com/install-samba4-active-directory-ubuntu/
Domain Controller is Fedora 29 with samba-dc-4.9.6-0 installed, the other
Windows 10 Pro version 1809 with RSAT installed.
The Domain Controller is named dcprimary. I am connected to the domain
from the Windows named wks2.
In part 4 it steps through configuring a logon banner.

nt status buffer too small
It's ok now.
I restarted the setup with this documentation
https://www.tecmint.com/install-samba4-active-directory-ubuntu/ . The
problem was that pam was badly set and could not recognize samba users.
For example: id Administrator, did not recognize by the user.
Thank's

Group policies are not applied
I have hollowed these instructions.
https://github.com/thctlo/samba4/blob/master/full-howto-Ubuntu18.04-samba-AD_DC.txt
My normal domain is company.com. For the Samba domain it is
msi.company.com.
DNS is working. I ran these commands.
host -t SRV _ldap._tcp.msi.company.com.
_ldap._tcp.msi.company.com has SRV record 0 100 389 dc0.msi.company.com.
host -t SRV _kerberos._udp.msi.company.com.

memory issues
Hi,
ever since I have switched my server from Centos 7 to Fedora 32, asterisk
is showing memory issues and no calls are possible. I'm using the asterisk
that comes with Fedora; before that, I used a self-compiled version on
Centos. The hardware is still the same. Asterisk shows the following
message when trying to make a call:

wondering if there are any problems building version 29?
