Init SSL without certificate database
Hello, Also note that NUT project does not currently issue packages, and I have a hard time guessing what distro might ship a "driver.version: DSM7-1-1-42930-workplus-version2-repack-42930-220712". Ask them what NUT version (release or snapshot) they use, and if they would consider shipping a newer one? Sometime recently (after 2.8.0 release) an option was added to quiesce this

[Announcement] Python3 scripts to replace upsmon, upssched, upssched-cmd
UPSmon.py --------- I have been experimenting with a Python3 re-implementation of upsmon, upssched and upssched-cmd. This is currently in use on openSUSE and Debian boxes. It provides a much richer "language" for UPS management. For example, the key part of the well known "warn on [OB], shutdown on [LB]" approach is written as # Warnings when on-battery, wait for low

XSPF file
I have figured out, that it is possible to get a xml file, if you add .xspf to the end of the stream url. This file includes the number of current listeners and max connections, what I don't want that this information goes public! How can I edit the information, which is displayed in the xsl file? Thanks for your support, Hans-Georg -- Diese E-Mail wurde von

Weirdness with --no-times option of rsync
Hi, rsync experts! Would you please address the following issue (an apparent bug. But I would rather reserve judgment and let you decide). When rsync is run with the --no-times switch, file transfers based on time difference indeed do not happen. HOWEVER... When -i (or -vv ?) is also specified, the transfer that does not happen is nevertheless reported as if it *did *happen ( or under

Hey FWIW, I have virsh running on my laptop too and no virtual machines registered to autostart but my laptop reboots just fine and shows no traces of any warnings. Customized theme for Syslinux.cfg
Greetings Syslinux forum, I used this link; https://askubuntu.com/questions/1090891/grub-menu-colors and I followed it's tutorial for implementing the grub theme and was able to delete the menu border by creating a customized grub theme for UEFI boot (grub.cfg)! Do you know if the "syslinux.cfg"(legacy boot grub) can have it's border removed, like do you know if

New libpng in c2d4u3.5 breaks many other packages
Thanks for keeping us updated. Before I jump the gun and put this out on social media (as a follow-up to this tweet https://twitter.com/robinlovelace/status/990682038373158912 ), would you say this is a reasonable message to send to the R-using Ubuntu community?: Follow-on advice in case it's of use to any #Ubuntu + #rstats users out > there: wait until Ubuntu 18.04.1 is released before

Hello All, This is about my successful experience in bringing up Ubuntu 17.10 x86_64 on the clang-built Linux 4.15.7 kernel(latest stable as of early March 2018) and clang-built proprietary Nvidia 390.25(latest as of early March 2018) driver for my Nvidia GTX GeForce 860M graphics card. I wanted to share the same here for any similarly interested people out here. By the way, appreciate the

Ubuntu 16.04 libvirt-guests.sh [6917] - running guests under URI address default: no running guests
Hi I have recently upgraded from Ubuntu 15.04 to 16.04 and now everytime I shutdown my PC I get a black screen where it says "libvirt-guests.sh [6917] - running guests under URI address default: no running guests" and the PC just hangs forever and will not shutdown. I need to manually kill it in order to shut it down which is a pain in the ass. I have done some investigation and here is

Localhost imap server fails after upgrade from 2.2.33.2-1 to 1:2.3.2.1
Hello Stephan, I'm interested to see this get fixed (and ideally one day for it to be really easy for people to set up Alpine so that it competes fairly with heavier GUIs!), but I do not know that I am qualified to help (beyond light testing). Is there someone from Alpine on this thread? The second (askubuntu.com) link you give is my own question (and answer, based on Aki Tuomi's
