Conditional jump or move depends on uninitialised value(s)
Hi, I'm using valgrind to check over some C/C++ code for an R library. I'm getting the report (see below), but can't track down the uninitialised value(s). I tried using --track-origins=yes in valgrind which gives: ==28258== Uninitialised value was created by a stack allocation ==28258== at 0xEE33D98: ??? (in /usr/lib64/R/lib/libRlapack.so) I presume the problem is an

segfault following a detach
Hello, first off, thanks for all of the previous help; hopefully someone will have some insight on this question. I am attempting to track down a segmentation fault which occurs only after a detach(2) is called in the code (I have replaced the detach(2) with detach(package:DSA) and that fails as well (furthermore, I have removed the detach calls and it does not segfault)). It has proved

E.g.: smb.conf include = smb.conf.%U It include only smb.conf. at first time. I find no information about it so I try write patch for it. Please could you say me, if it's wrong? I have no problem

uninitialised theora_info values
Hi, Ralph recently checked in a version of theora/tests/noop.c that uses the new API. Part of the reason for this test is to check for memory leaks in the library's constructors and destructors. You can run the test suite under valgrind by configuring with --enable-valgrind-testing. The test passes, but gives output like: make[1]: Entering directory

Reported invalid memory references
While testing for leaks in my own code I noticed some reported memory problems from valgrind, invoked with $ R --vanilla -d "valgrind --leak-check=full" This is on Debian GNU/Linux (testing aka lenny) with a 2.6 kernel, R package version 2.4.1-2. I was running in an emacs shell. The immediate source of all the problems before I get to the prompt is the system dynamic loader

KWD crashes when opening OOo
Hello, KWD crashes almost regularly when trying to start OpenOffice.org. I've attached two output files from valgrind to this e-mail (as suggested by David Reveman in another mail 11.7): Use something like: valgrind --tool=memcheck kde-window-decorator .... I'm using Trevino's git version of Compiz in up-to-date Kubuntu Feisty system. Compiz version is

Initial implementation of ch.mapping 253/3
Thanks again Mark for taking a look and pointing out the issues that previous patch had. I've addressed your concerns. The tests should no longer give any warnings or errors regarding usage or c89. I've ensured the memory issues have also been addressed. Please let me know any and all other concerns as well. :) Attached is the new proposed patch. Cheers, Drew On Wed, Jun 7, 2017 at
