[PATCH] btrfs-progs: Check mount status of multidevice filesystems
Some programs like btrfsck should not be run on a mounted filesystem.
This patch adds a check in btrfs_open_devices() for the mount status
of every device belonging to the filesystem. The function check_mount()
gets improved support for loopback devices. It now detects if the
program is run on the file that is being used by the loopback device.

[PATCH 0/3] kinit: Allow mount options
This patch series allows user-specified mount commands to be
sent in via kernel command line ("kinit_mount=...") or via
an embedded /etc/fstab file.
The first patch is a cleanup of a patch sent last November
by San Mehat (http://web.archiveorange.com/archive/v/EazJNBMORV2U7E0coh5h);
the next two are small improvements or bug fixes.

[PATCH] kinit: Add ability to mount filesystems via /etc/fstab or cmdline
This patch adds the ability to mount filesystems via an embedded fstab
or via the kernel command line.
When using the kernel command-line, the following format is required:
'kinit_mount=<fs_name>;<fs_dir>;<fs_type>;<fs_opts>'
Multiple mount options can be specified; they are evaluated in the order
they appear in the command-line.

[PATCH 001/001] Add UFS1/2 support to Extlinux installer.
It's needed to enumerate both UFS1/2 since they have different magic numbers
and super block offsets.
Besides, UFS2 can be installed in the 0-64k range like BTRFS, whereas
UFS1 can't.

It seems checkpatch errors krept in, this is a first go.
Next run will go into usr/kinit directory.
No code changes, just codingstyle fixes (verified with size(3)).

[RFC] klibc add minimal mntent.h
belows patch is a first step towards a mntent.h
we'll need it anyways later for mdadm support.
it allows to compile util-linux-ng mount against klibc.
due to the missing features there is a severe size difference:

[PATCH] Btrfs-progs: receive: fix the case that we can not find subvolume
If we change our default subvolume, btrfs receive will fail to find
subvolume. To fix this problem, i have two ideas.
1.make btrfs snapshot ioctl support passing source subvolume''s objectid
2.when we want to using interval subvolume path, we mount it other place
that use subvolume 5 as its default subvolume.
We''d better use the second approach because it won''t bother

libsysfs and klibc
libsysfs is using a few things not in klibc. udev is getting around this by
having a private copy of libsysfs with a few modifications to make it work on
klibc. What's the easiest path for getting the master libsysfs copy working on
klibc?
libsysfs needs two calls:
setmntent, getmntent
These are used to locate the mount point of /sys
It also uses errno so I get link errors for

Bug in mkfs.btrfs?!
Hi,
I wanted to create a new btrfs fs for my backups.
When trying to mkfs.btrfs for that device, I''m getting
"error checking /dev/loop2 mount status"
With strace I see where the problem is:
lstat("/dev/disk/by-id/ata-INTEL_SSDSA2M160G2GC_CVPO939201JX160AGN-par",
0x7fffa30b3cf0) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)
The problem is there is something missing

[PATCH] nomtab support
This patch was sent to me by Urban Widmark <urban@teststation.com>
(thanks Urban!).
It allows me to mount remote Win shares to my Linux box
automatically. I'm using kernel automounter.
The problem was that I have a ro root fs
and my /etc/mtab isn't writable (symlinked to /proc/mounts).
Patch adds -n and -o nomtab options for smbmount.
-o nomtab was particularly useful for me.
