The new Linux IGD support
Hello Tom, I tried the new UPnP support of shorewall, olny to stumble upon a LinuxIGD bug. Specificaly, the UPnP chain is read as UPn from the upnpd.conf . I double checked it, there some bug in the upnpd, it doesn''t process 4 lettered names correctly. Could you change this chains'' name to something a little longer? -- Costas Cavouracis <cca@freemail.gr> My PGP keys:

Multiple WAN + Multiple LAN + linux-igd
Hi, I''m implementing a linux router with this characteristics: - Multiple adsl with each public ip''s - Multiple LAN ethernets (in a bridge). - Linux IGD I have successfully implemented de 2 first steps, the adsl balanced fine (multipath routing), and the clients bridge fine. My problem is how to use that with linux-igd. My LAN bridge has STP and is implemented for

UPnP support in tinc
Hi Guus, Unfortunately, I often notice that even with the advanced UDP hole punching mechanisms that tinc uses, I still come across cases on my network where two nodes behind NATs cannot talk to each other because one of the nodes is behind a "strict" NAT that won't use consistent source ports for UDP packets that are sent to different destination addresses. More formally, this

Syslinux 1.75, LEAF Bering 1.2, Compaq 2266
I have been using the LEAF Bering firewall for a year or so. It boots with Syslinux 1.75. But Bering is too large for a 1440KB floppy, so it formats the diskette as 1680KB. Recently I found a small Compaq 2266 box to replace a larger Compaq 7170 to run the firewall. But when I try to boot the Bering diskette on the 2266 I get the following message: Loading Linux ............ Boot failed:

RE: Does anyone know a PPPoE Server for Bering?
Does anyone know a PPPoE Server for Bering ? I don''t know anything about Bering (a quick search shows an Internet Firewall device and Floppy distro...) but anyways; I have had luck with RP-PPPoE (http://www.roaringpenguin.com/products/rp-pppoe/) which does include a PPPoE server. I have my pppd patched to support RADIUS so that it can talk to my FreeRadius rig in the testing lab.... IF

Possible multicast problem with UPnP Media Server
I'm trying to run Asset UPnP media server under Wine 1.1.27 on Ubuntu 8.04. The problem is that media clients on the same network don't appear to SSDP discover this media server. The server itself *does* advertise itself fine on the network though (but as this is fairly infrequent, then any clients can be hanging around for quite some time before they spot the server). I've tried

Puppet modules for Ceph
[Note: This message has also been sent to ceph-devel@vger.kernel.org & puppet-openstack@puppetlabs.com] Hi, I''m currently working on writing a Puppet module for Ceph. As after some research I found no existing module, I''ll start from scratch but I would be glad to hear from people who would already have started working or this or having any idea or pointers regarding this
