X-Lite behind NATed ADSL router
The X-lite client is installed behind an ADSL router and it seems the ISP
also has a firewall supposedly protecting their ADSL customers blocking some
netbios ports and non-critical.
I can't make outbound calls but I can receive but before then I had to use
the following in the account section in SIP.conf
[2222]

type=friend
secret=xxxx
host=dynamic

VoIP Mythbusters Help!! - NATed phone-phone connection without proxy? Possible? Yes/No
Hello,
All I'm looking for is a yes/no answer here. I have heard that the
following scenario is possible (reasonably easy to implement as well) . but
I just don't get it :-) . if it is possible I'll go ahead and learn on my
own, I just don't want to waste time on something that will not work.
Scenario:

NATed peer & ports
Hi there,
I've got a question about the fact that the source port of an outbound
packet may not be altered by a masquerading firewall. Unfortunately the
example on the website does not explain why this has to be done. Forwarding
an inbound packet is often needed but WHY has the source port to remain
unchanged? I'm not a too good coder so it's hard for me to reproduce what
happens. Is

samba in NATed network
We have about 300 users distributed on different vlans using private ip
network spaces, and sharing one single public IP when going out to the
Internet. Our samba (3.0.24) server has a pulbic IP and is running as a
primary domain controller. All clients receive Sambas's public IP as
their WINS server. I am able to join the domain but samba stops
responding sporadically. Looking at the

Mulitple VLANs containing the same ip subnet NATed on same box
I know this is not a normal request, but I would like to connect two
vlans into the same box that have the same subnet on them, and then
NAT them out to the Internet.
We don''t need to make any connections inbound to them, but only
provide outbound access.
Any suggestions on how to do this?
If I can''t do it with routing then I could use something like
user-mode Linux, or other
