Excel 'Document not saved' Error when using SMB2 Protocol
Hi Samba Users, I'm in the process of building a Samba4 CTDB /GPFS Cluster joined as a member server to AD that also supports ACL's . It has taken some time but almost everything is working now :) . My one outstanding issue is editing files using Excel 2007 on Windows 7 results in a 'Document not saved' error. I believe this is an issue with the SMB2 protocol as I can edit the same

rpc_pipe_open_ncalrpc: connect(/run/samba/ncalrpc/EPMAPPER) failed: No such file or directory
This question has already been asked in the past, but there was no answer. The above message is logged quite often in /var/log/samba/log.samba-dcerpcd. This is a stand-alone anonymous read-only server. Is it something to worry about? It smells like samba isn't working properly. If yes, how can I fix it? CentOS 6.10, Epel 4.4.xx kernel, certmonger issue.
Any guidance appreciated. Been running CentoS 6.1 on my stuff in my 1-man office trying to buy time to have some liesure to learn the non inittab/telinit/runlevel stuff as I put up CentOS 8.
