Network and default route
I have had this problem on and off since RedHat 6, and I always worked through it, but I thought I would ask. When you have multiple network interfaces, how does the system determine the default route? Or is it the first, (or last) interface that comes up? On the problem systems I have to add a "route add default..." statement in some systems in the rc.local to get them to work right.

Folding@Home CentOS Team
All, The CentOS Folding at Home team has cracked the top 10% of all the folding teams. We could use some more members that have CPU Cycles to spare :) Folding at Home is a great distributed computing program that is used to process items for medical research teams. It is similar to SETI at Home (if you are familiar with that). Here is info on Folding AT Home: http://folding.stanford.edu/

Connecting to dovecot
Hi All, I've got a brand new dovecot installation. I'm new to dovecot, so please be gentle :-) Anyway, I'm getting some errors when I try to connect to dovecot. I've tried searching the web and haven't been able to find a lot of information. Here's the config info: # dovecot --version 1.1.2 # dovecot -n sudo dovecot -n # 1.1.2: /usr/local/etc/dovecot.conf base_dir:

6TB SCSI RAID vs. Centos
I have an Infortrend RAID box I'd like to see as one big 6TB partition, but I only can get 2.2TB partitions to work. I was trying to do this with an Adaptec controller but apparently they are only (any of them) 48 bits wide. Does anybody have a working system for SCSI/Centos over 2.2TB? Folding@Home + CentOS 4.3 = success
The Folding at Home client seems to be a wonderful stressor of the CentOS server systems I've been burning in. I've been running two copies of the client on physical dual-core and single die dual-core machines for a few days now. Nary a whimper from the machines and only a slight elevation in temperature (they're 1RU rackmount systems with aggressive/loud fans). In contrast, I

Folding@Home in CentOS/Solaris Zone
Hi there, I tried the Folding at Home client under CentOS(2.4.21) which is run in a Solaris Container/Zone on a x86 machine.
