load balancing between two dsl links
Hi,
I am connected to two DSL providers (DSL 1 - 1Mbps downlink/384kbps
uplink and DSL 2 - 2Mbps downlink/512kpbs uplink)
I would like to only allow ftp, pop3 and http via the DSL 1 and only
smtp, ipsec and pptp via DSL 2.
How can I do so? Can I use iproute to route these protocols?
Below is my ip routing: -
# DSL 1
ip route add 2.2.2.208/30 dev eth0 src 2.2.2.210 table 1

Problem With Android Configuration
Hi there,
I've finally had a deeper look and found the Lollipop routing issues root
cause: Lollipop uses several routing tables instead of the default one for
previous Android versions. The main routing table is used with lowest
priority per default:
root at hammerhead:/ # ip rule show
0: from all lookup local
10000: from all fwmark 0xc0000/0xd0000 lookup legacy_system
13000: from all

I'm facing this routing problem, the setup is actualy part of ltsp, but
I think this problem is Centos-specific.

Environments and tiers
Does anyone have any suggestions about how to deal with multiple
environments/tiers?
For instance, we have several environments ( production, dev, qa,
etc.. ) and within each environment, different tiers ( web, data, app,
etc ). Each tier is a different IP network segment, so all the hosts
in each tier have different configurations for certain things like
resolv.conf, ntp.conf and so on.

ip route doesn''t not work with virtual inferfaces
I have two IP for eth0 which correspond to eth0 and eth0:1
I want to create a route
to 192.168.66.0/24 via 192.168.0.50 from eth0:1
so I add the route with
ip route add 192.168.66.0/24 via 192.168.1.2 dev eth0:1
but when I connect to 192.168.66.0/24 network in connects still using
the IP of eth0, not the IP of eth0:1 as one would expect.
What''s strange to me is that ip route list
