Exchange Server in DMZ
I would like to place an exchange 5.5 server in my DMZ.
Can anyone tell me how I can set this up to allow LAN clients to be able to
connect to Exchange and also so I can admin the box from the LAN with
Terminal Services?
Thank you.

rules & nat files for DNAT
Dear experts,
Quick quotation...
I have a sendmail server behind the shorewall-2.1.7 server. I would like
to do Port forwarding (DNAT) for clients on the internet, who need to
access the mail server.
Please let me know, which way is the most suitable to accomplish this;
using following 2 types of configurations

DNAT not working after changing BIND to use views
Hello all:
I''ve got a confusing issue. I had a working shorewall configuration
(based on the two interface model) using DNAT for redirection to my HTTP
server. The HTTP server is on my inside network (I know - bad juju, but
one thing at a time). I changed my configuration this morning to use
views in my BIND (named) configuration. Everyone outside the firewall
is able to get in

Gamemaker 5.3 under wine on OSX?
I'm very new to wine, so please excuse my noobness.
I'm going to be teaching a course on Game Design for non-programmers in the fall. The school is an all-mac operation, but I'd like to use YoYo Game's Gamemaker to teach the course. YoYo has a mac version in beta, but it is unclear if it will reach release in time for my class to begin.
I know that the current version of

configuring dhcp-relay / Shorewall
In our LAN a Linux-router connects 2 subnets. On this router dhcrelay is
running.
For several reasons we have to run a firewall on this box. But what is
the right way to configure dhcrelay using Shorewall???
Thanks.

Queue extension issues
I'm stuck on queues!
The way I read what documentation I have found, if I set up a queue like
this:
[general]
persistentmembers = yes
[testq]
musiconhold=default
strategy = ringall
timeout = 10
retry = 5
context = testing
member => SIP/100
and then add into extensions something like this:
[incomingiax]
exten => 1234,1,Dial(SIP/100,10)
exten => 1234,2,Queue(testq|tTH|||300)

Asterisk Queues Problem
Help!
I'm (still) having issues with Asterisk Queues.
I want to implement a queue so that callers get the 'all our staff are
busy at the moment, your call has been placed in a queue and will be
answered by the first available operator. You may press 1 at any time
to leave a voicemail' announcement, then they can press 1 and leave a
voicemail.

Re: Exchange Server in DMZ (i-hacked.com)
Hiya,
My two cents here .. I use a locked down Linux Sendmail relay (use sendmail
null-client feature on any spare old server or PC) in my DMZ to relay Mail
to the exchange server in my local zone. Its sort of the moat you have to
cross over to get at the castle walls and the hot oil dumped on your head
approach.

Shore wall and multi ISPs and ip addresses
Hi All!
I only ever have complex setups.
Customer site has a dedicated leased line from their ISP terminating on a
Cisco router. Router is configuered with the first usable address on a /28
network - 196.x.y.73. The linux firewall is configured with the remaining 5
ip''s, 196.x.y.74 to 196.x.y.78 and 79 as the broadcast. Sounds normal but here
is the twist. The primary or first ip

Moving to Dovecot
Hi there,
I'm currently running IMAP with Courier and POP3 with Solid-POP3d. I'd
like to migrate IMAP and POP3 to both use Dovecot.
All this works fine in testing, except for the fact that I have two
types of users for legacy reasons.
One type of user has a Maildir-style inbox at ~/Maildir/
The other type has a mbox-style inbox at ~/Mailbox
Is it possible to make Dovecot look for

R friends,
I am using R 2.1.0 in a Win XP . I have a problem working with lists, probably I
do not understand how to use them.
Lets suppose that a set of patients visit a clinic once a year for 4 years
on each visit a test, say 'eib' is performed with results 0 or 1
The patients do not all visit the clinic the 4 times but they missed a lot
of visits.
The test is considered positive if it

Is ProxyARP or NAT entries really neccesary for DNAT to work?
I have been trying to get DNAT to work and I actually have succeeded
too, however, not how I thought it would work when reading through the
documentation.
1. No matter what I do I cannot get DNAT to work unless I have an entry
in eiter the nat or the proxyarp file. Is that really how it''s supposed
to be? I can''t find anything about it in the documentation.
2. Also, in the

Iptables issues again
I know that I have asked this before of the list. However we just changed
ISP and ip's and I'm having this issue again. I have a linux firewall
using iptables with the following config
eth0 = WAN 1
eth1 = LAN 1
eth2 = WAN 2
I'm trying to forward all traffic that makes a request from eth2 to an
internal IP on eth1.
These are the folloing rules that I have set up.
