Almost there with Sieve
Hi all,
Dovecot - 2.2.35
Pigeonhole - 0.4.23
I've recently moved mail filtering from local filtering (using
Thunderbird) to Sieve.? I've got filtering into folders and flagging
emails working fine, but for possibly one tiny glitch.
When specifying folders to filter into I have to use the format
'INBOX/Folder name' instead of just 'Folder name'.? Can this be
corrected??

domU on gfs
Hey All,
I have a cluster setup and exporting gfs storage everything is
working ok(as far as I know anyway). But instead of mounting the gfs
storage I want the xen guest to be installed on the shared gfs storage.
But with my current setup when I install the domU on the gfs storage it
changes it to ext3. Is it possible this way or does the domU have to be
on an ext file system?

l2arc current usage (population size)
Hello,
How do you tell how much of your l2arc is populated? I''ve been looking for a while now, can''t seem to find it.
Must be easy, as this blog entry shows it over time:
http://blogs.sun.com/brendan/entry/l2arc_screenshots
And follow up, can you tell how much of each data set is in the arc or l2arc?

server hang with compression on, ping timeouts from remote machine
Hello All,
I am running NTFS over iSCSI on a ZFS ZVOL volume with compression=gzip-9 and blocksize=8K. The server is 2 core P4 3.0 Ghz with 5 GB of RAM.
Whenever I start copying files from Windows onto the ZFS disk, after about 100-200 Mb been copied the server starts to experience freezes. I have iostat running, which freezes as well. Even pings on both of the network adapters are reporting

debconf templating
Hello.
Hope you can help me further.
I can vaguely remember that once I saw a reference how to preconfigure
debconf in puppet manifests. So you can define answers in debconf inside
of manifests. No idea where anymore. Anybody knows?

Documentation error?
Hi,
I am setting up a fileserver in an AD domain, using Samba 3.0.21b under Solaris 9. An Openldap server (version 2.3.17) is used fot the idmap backend.
Following the Samba HOWTO Collection, chapter 6, I used the statement
ldap idmap suffix = ou=idmap,dc=uppsala,dc=se
in my smb.conf. This doesn't work. When starting winbindd I get the following in the log:

Released Pigeonhole v0.4.15 for Dovecot v2.2.25.
Hello Dovecot users,
I have completed the final release. I found a few more problems while
testing this release, so a few more fixes are included. I also added a
behavioral change to the vacation extension.
Changelog v0.4.15:
* vacation extension: The sieve_user_email setting is now used in the
check for implicit delivery.
- imapsieve plugin: For any mail transaction, the mailbox was opened a

Released Pigeonhole v0.4.21.rc1 for Dovecot v2.2.33.rc1.
Hello Dovecot users,
Here is the Pigeonhole hole release candidate that goes with the Dovecot
release candidate. Nothing really special going on, just a few changes
and fixes that accumulated over the last few months.
Changelog v0.4.21:
* redirect action: Always set the X-Sieve-Redirected-From header to
sieve_user_email if configured. Before, it would use the envelope

Released Pigeonhole v0.4.21 for Dovecot v2.2.33.1.
Hello Dovecot users,
Here's the definitive 0.4.21 release. There were no changes since the
release candidate.
Changelog v0.4.21:
* redirect action: Always set the X-Sieve-Redirected-From header to
sieve_user_email if configured. Before, it would use the envelope
recipient instead if available, which makes no sense if the primary
e-mail address is available.

Why do you need to use INBOX/Folder name? Unless of course you've
created the folders under INBOX?

Released Pigeonhole v0.4.14 for Dovecot v2.2.24.
Hello Dovecot users,
The most important feature that this new release adds is the IMAPSIEVE
capability, which allows executing Sieve scripts at IMAP events. It also
adds the ability to obtain trace logs from Sieve execution at actual
delivery (or from IMAP), rather than only using the sieve-test command
line tool.
This release also fixes a bug in the Sieve extprograms plugin that has

server started as daemon: Application behaves differently from running in console
Hi,
running our app from its application folder /app via
script/server -p <port>
works fine.
Starting the rails server (2.3.17) as a daemon via
cd /app && script/server -p <port> -d
(e.g. as init.d script)
our application works in parts, but on several actions throws the error
below. It seems that the daemon does not have the correct environment
and cannot find the
