geo-replication 3.5.2 not working on Ubuntu 12.0.4 - transport.address-family not specified
Hi,
I am testing geo-replication 3.5.2 by following the instruction from https://github.com/gluster/glusterfs/blob/master/doc/admin-guide/en-US/markdown/admin_distributed_geo_rep.md
All commands are executed successfully without returning any error, but no replication is done from master to the slave.
Enclosed please find the logs when starting the geo-replication volume. At the end of the log,

[FORGED] r-base is already the newest version (3.5.2-1bionic)
The silence has been deafening in respect of my latest cri de coeur
about trying to install R via "sudo apt-get r-base".
I have been thrashing around on my own, and getting nowhere.
What I have tried is removing all traces of the "old" (installed from
source) R from the system. I did "whereis R" and then moved all of the
relevant directories that appeared, into

[LLVMdev] Stable Release Schedule: 3.5.2 and 3.6.1
Hi,
Here is schedule for upcoming stable releases:
3.5.2 - This will be the last 3.5.x release. There was a critical bug fix
that did not make it into 3.5.1, which made it necessary to do 3.5.2. I
will accept other fixes, but the merge window will be very short:
March 16 - Tag 3.5.2-rc1 and begin testsing
March 25 - 3.5.2 release (If no regressions found during testing).
3.6.1 - Bug fixes

samba-3.5.2 - "getent group" not returning any info
Hello there
I just installed 3.5.2 and encountered the following. Compile worked all
right but "getent group" would not give back any results, though "getent
passwd" did list those AD users. The server runs as AD member and
winbind seems to work normally. "wbinfo -u" and "wbinfo -g" return the
desired info just "getent group" sucks.
It works

Samba 3.5.2 with/out aio on FreeBSD 7.2
Hi,
I have a FreeBSD 7.2 machine with Samba 3.4.5 with aio support enabled. If I
try to upgrade to Samba 3.5.2 from source aio support compiles but I receive
"Abnormal server exit: Failed to setup RT_SIGNAL_AIO handler" fatal error
from smbd. Without aio 3.5.2 too works nice.
Any hint please what has been changed from 3.4.5 to 3.5.2 regarding aio? Or
what special compile option would

3.4.6 to 3.5.2 difficulties
Did an upgrade from samba 3.4.6 to 3.5.2 Left the smb.conf completely
unchanged. As background I'm using samba on gentoo amd64 with a ldapsam
backend on openldap. Upgrade went well, I thought. Users could login
and access their home directories. Service reloaded without issue.
Here was the issue though, windows 2003 servers couldn't login users
into the domain. These servers were

Novell Client forces password change, Ver. 3.5.2. and LDAP
Dear all,
we have a strange behavior using Samba (Verson 3.5.2) as PDC with Open LDAP
(Version 2.1.22) as backend and an old Novell-Client (version: 4.91 SP5)
running on WinXP (SP3 and higher).
The old PDC (Version 3.0.28) was running over years with the same
LDAP-Server as backend and with Novell installed on the clients.
We decided to migrate to Samba 3.5.2 , updated all the LDAP schemas

Hi,
I joined samba server (linux box centos 5.4) under samba 3.4.7 to
Windows Domain at windows server 2003. wbinfo -g shows me all the groups
from the AD and wbinfo -u shows me all the users.
Then yesterday i upgraded to samba version 3.5.2, restarted windbind and
smb. Then, when i make: wbinfo -g then i see nothing. wbinfo -u shows me

client mount options for both Mac OS X and old Samba 3.5.2 servers
I'm trying to configure a Linux autofs script to mount our various SMB
shares, but different servers seem to require different, incompatible
options.
So I wonder if I'm just not using the right combination of options, or
if there is a way in my autofs script to detect what will be needed for
that particular smb server.
The servers are:
- Windows 7, Windows 10
- Debian 8, 9, Ubuntu

Now *that* was a revealing suggestion! I did that and got:

[LLVMdev] Mips patches for LLVM 3.5.2
Hi Tom,
I've got a few patches that I'd like to get into 3.5.2 if I can.
* r230235 - [mips] Honour -mno-odd-spreg for vector insert/extract when MSA is enabled.
o Fixes a failure in the test-suite when -mno-odd-spreg and -mmsa are used together.
* r227089 - [mips] Enable arithmetic and binary operations for the i128 data type.
o This fixes an instruction selection

r-base is already the newest version (3.5.2-1bionic)
After a great deal of apparently irrelevant kerfuffle, with which I have
been boring this list, I managed to do:
     sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
without getting error messages. I was told that there was nothing to
do. I then (to make sure?) did:
     sudo apt-get install r-base
and was told:

Winbind 3.5.2 caching issues under SLES11???
Hi,
I don't know if this is a problem of SLES11 or winbind itself. I
recently installed the lastest samba winbind 3..5.2 on a SLES9 box and a
SLES11 box.
If I remove a user from a group in Active Directory the change is
visible immediately on the SLES9 box but not on the SLES11 box. Both are
running exactly the same version of winbind:
